It ain't fun anymore, it's serious shit.

Only pussies give up on a tenth attempt.

EDIT: In a rather sick twist of fate, the angrier I get the worse I get. It generally doesn't end well until I get lucky.

For me it, sort of, depends on the game. TF2 I die a lot. I mean that it is so much that it is embarrasing but because the deaths are fun I don't care and carry on. Games like COD where you die it just gets annoying and is not fun. MW2 also pisses me off more by giving you the death perk. It is like a slap in the face saying "Get it together" and makes you feel worse.

Run in the exact same way as before. I make it a habit to never learn from my mistakes.

and Yunaleska (cheating Megadeath whore.)
When I finally got to Yunalesca and decided to check who had armor strong against death? Khimari... Deathward...

I eventually got Auto-Life and let Tidus copy it.
I know of another way. Mega Death doesn't work on Zombified party members. I just had one of my party members (usually Yuna, who had Full-Life at the time) keep Zombie status from the form before that. Then, I just revived the other party members.

OT: I just go to GameFAQs. Dying ten times in the same place is far more than enough reason to go find help.

I like games for their story and exploration the first time I play through them and for perfecting the course of the levels for the replays.

I am not a gamer who's in it for the stubborn hardcore challenge. If I can't beat it, it's no fun and that's the point I usually abandon it.

What about you?
If you were a Disease or a Virus, you would be an evolutionary dead end.

Keep trying. Switch your tactics up. Take a new route, power-level, throw a grenade off the corner, change your equipment... whatever it takes.

I'll keep trying again and again and will try different tactics, but eventually i usually resort to cheats/trainers to get through that bit

Left For Dead: "What Are You Trying to Prove?" unlocked. Nothing like a three hour campaign to get the blood pumping...And the throat raw.

I don't give up.

Lob as many grenades as i can into the area that i can. If i have no grenades, i look for more.
If there are no more, i take out the biggest explody thing gun and put both itchy trigger fingers onto it.

Oh.. wait, that what i always do.

I typically never give up permanently. I think the more frustrating it gets the more satisfying it is when I do beat it.

Some of the MW2 Spec ops missions for example. I can't count the number of times I have tried some of them on Veteran. That 69 star achievement is gonna be that much sweeter when I finally do get it. And get it I shall!!!

i can't come up with anything i couldn't had beaten within 10 tries, tho some FF X bosses have been ridicilously hard. (like in dah zanarkand).

in the end i've conquered the challenges without external help, tho sometimes friends have given minor advices.

i try to avoid internet sources before i beat the game atleast once.

I keep trying until I get to pissed to go on, then I stop for a while, think about it away from the game and come back. Sometimes I come up with the solution to the problem while I'm thinking about it sometimes I don't. When it gets too much of a bother I look up the solution online, what's the point in playing the game if I'm not having fun right?
