Then I go read, get bored, play Xbox 360, get more bored and eventually start feeling shut in because I live in the middle of nowhere and without the net I can't contact friends very easily to get out and do stuff (if my internet is gone then my entire landline must be down) and I don't get mobile signal. I'm cut off from the world DX

Yep thats about the same as me too, minus the living in the middle of nowhere part.

I didn't have internet today until this afternoon for some reason.
It was awful.

I pretty much played Sims and my Xbox 360 until I wanted to throw up, and then started watching The Departed. If I hadn't got my internet back, I'd read some. Maybe write. Talk to friends.

it depends entirely on my mood..XD my internet is annoyingly capped (because my dads a paranoid bastard...) so i either do all the blocked stuff when they go away at the weekend by using my dads computor...
Or i steal the neighbours wifi on my laptop, but it's a bit weak and dodgy..
Mostly i just like having internet access for msn...so i'm not really that bothered when it dies...
just so long as i can have access again within a few hours XD
mostly i'll read or watch movies, sometimes i even go outside :O

I would start eating my hands, then start ripping strands of people's hair from their head. Then like I said in the poll go on a homocidal rampage.

It usually happens in this order;

1) try to fix the internet
2) use neighbours internet to find solution to my problems
3) use neighbours internet.
4) play singleplayer games
5) read books/ work more/ do dishes
6) try to watch tv
7) FINDS OR BUYS INTERNET NO MATTER HOW DIFFICULT

Edit; Reading books isnt in there because thats what i do during loading screens/long downloads or in bed

I don't steal my neighbors wifi, but I use it with their permission.

I do that too, except that i dont really ask for the permission.
If their internet is down too, i just stare at the screen hoping that that little icon turns green..
