Poll: What do you do with the instruction manual?

I read the book first, I find i8t lets me skip through the tutorial crap at the beginning of any game faster. I keep it for reference later too, just in case, or if I'm letting someone new play it.

Nowadays I buy most of my games from Steam, but on the rare occasion when I buy a physical copy reading the manual is the first thing I do. Even though most of what's in them is pretty useless to me, I still enjoy looking through them, especially if there is some unique art or flavour text.

Edit: Also they smell good. Seriously.

I usually read through any backstory/lore as soon as I get the game, while it's installing. But after having played the game for some time, I'll browse through the manual now and then, just to see if there are any little functinos that I haven't already worked out for myself.

I save it for future reference. Just incase I need to know something or have nothing else to do but read it.
