Poll: What do you make of survival mode? (Left 4 Dead)

Have just played a few rounds, and I love it! Very dependent on players covering each other and working as a unit. It makes it way harder if you are not on voice comms (which is a bonus in my book). For those interested, there are achievements for surviving long enough on all the maps - 4 minutes for bronze, 7 for silver, and 10 for gold. Me an my L4D buddies got a gold medal on our fourth round, and we dont play seriously. You could probably get gold on most of the maps if you played for a few hours with a competent group. The leaderboard is pretty cool as well, you can see how long all of your friends have survived on each map - One guy somehow lasted for just over 20 minutes on the new lighthouse map.

Not tried the 2 extra versus campaigns, but all in all, I think its a very nice update!

Pretty nice. Nothing that will make me tear off my own trousers and eat them, but it's still quite enjoyable. Not to mention that it's Free!

I thought it was pretty cool actually, me and a few randoms played a few rounds on a couple of maps, had great fun. Managed to crack the 9 minute mark a few times but not quite the ten. I quite liked the idea of planning before the start as well.
