I know some people, I post, I'm not nasty and have a clean rep, but to be honest, I'm not really bothered

Neutral, maybe leaning a bit toward the good side. Most of the people who I expect wouldn't like me are the ones that take arguing over the internet too seriously.

And I know a couple people recognize me from my review of my shit. That's something that stands out.

I doubt very many people know who I am. I do recognise some people with post counts lower than mine, so there's a chance you might recognise me, but I doubt anyone has any strong feelings one way or the other.

A select few know me and I do get along with them quite well, but considering the Escapist forums as one huge entity I'd have to say my status is 'unrecognized'. I'm not one for making big waves, and I don't have any memorable quirks that make me stand out of the crowd, which is just how I like it.
Hey, I recognize you. Both you and JesterRaiin like 40k, so that's how I identify you.
Is that so? Guess I do have something that identifies me - I'm a 40k nut. Heh. :)

By the way, as far as the quality of W40k writing it concerned... I don't play the tabletop, so I've never been affected by the alleged atrocities of Matt Ward firsthand, but most of the novels put out by the Black Library are still damn good. Especially the stuff written by Abnett and Dembski-Bowden.

Ward's Crunch has gotten a little better, but his Fluff is terrible. Especially the infamous Khornate Knights incident.

Abnett's writing is good, but I am so sick of the Horus Heresy novels right now. They started out so strong, but then it got into the heads of the writers to drag it out for as long as possible. They are going on nearly twenty books and are still nowhere close to the siege of Terra.

That I feel is the biggest problem with the Black Library and 40K fluff as a whole: they expand sideways, instead of moving forward. So far, only the Ciaphas Cain books and Relic's games from Dawn of War 2 onwards have pushed past M41 and into the early M42.

I just don't normally post often enough to get recognised.

Unrecognized for me. I don't think I've been here long enough to have any kind of standing with any of the other escapists.

I'm not a 100% sure, I think I have a mixed reputation. I think I might have been labeled a heretic for saying I thought that Half Life was mediocre, and I think I bring up my fondness of Halo a little too much for some people to not get annoyed. However I've had some nice talks with people and started a couple of good threads so in reality I have no idea. Anyone care to help me out here?

I read about that infamous Khornate Knights incident, but from what I gather the fluff behind Kaldor Draigo is even more of an abomination.
As for the Horus Heresy, I still like it. Don't get me wrong, I'd very much like to see the final story arc sometime soon (I don't think they'll confine it to just one novel), but I'm quite happy with all the different perspectives presented in these novels. There are still a few legions I definitely want to have dedicated books, such as the Night Lords, Iron Warriors and Salamanders. (And speaking of Abnett, he's writing the novel about the Word Bearers' invasion of Calth; let's see if he can make the Smurfs and Rowboat Girlyman actually look cool.)

I think I am relatively unknown, but I hope people like me. The pony avatar probably doesn't help.

Neutral. I have my friends but I expect most people who don't know me personally treat me like the other anonymous voices of the internet.

Must say neutral. I'm alright with that too, because I want my actions to be what people say about me since I still got a long way to go in helping the community. When I say help, it's pretty much supporting, lending a hand, and giving out civil debates is all. There are some people I came to know who score the 'Good Reaction' overall though.
Neutral? Really? ... Really?!

You just got voted as the Inaugural Nicest Escapist, so... really?! ;)

Make sure to follow my wisdom and maybe you too can be as modest as me one day.

I presume I am unrecognised simply because I don't really involve myself in much discussion in threads or within groups. If I am recognised however, I'd say I'm neutral as theres only been one time where I've had an argument with some one and I think they were banned. Besides that I can't recall ever disagreeing with or doing anything that would make someone dislike me, or like me.
