Probably between neutral and bad.

I remember making some posts and threads that got me on some people's bad sides. But I also try not to cause too much trouble.

I've said some (plenty of) things that certainly pissed people off, but I don't think that many people would recognize my posts or avatar, so I put unrecognized.

On the other hand, I've posted things before that appeared to give the internet denizens little e-boners, so I can't say that it's been all bad.

I'd like to think people still recognize me (for good reasons) but I'm sure that most have no clue as to who I am. :\

Like most of the people, I'm unrecognized. I bet most people didn't even know I existed until I posted this. And even if they do now, they'll forget in an hour.

I am unrecognized, I think, by the general public. But I know my legions of unwavering supporters are secretly in hiding and will one day take over the world and raise me as their king. In karma, likes and... lack of forum warnings.

Pretty sure people are indifferent and that most people don't see me around much. I only really post in threads that interest me, if at all.

I doubt anyone outside the MLP group recognizes me, or am I wrong?
Like Owyn I'm a member of the MLP group, but I rarely if ever use it. For what it's worth I've seen you around the forums a number of times, I find MLP avatars can be just as recognisable if they aren't a generic pony standing/walking along.

I'm still sort of unrecognized I guess, but I've gotten a lot of good feedback from a lot of my posts so far, so that's something.

EDIT:

It's also got to be fairly undisputed that I have one of the best avatars on the site, so that's also got to count for something.
For a user with under 200 posts I've seen you a heck of a lot of times before, more than most 1K+ users I can recall. Maybe we tend to look at the same threads, or it might be your avatar which stands out (being clear colours against a white background, easily recognisable).

I'm gonna slip in here with the majority and paint myself unrecognised. Even if a few people do recognise me, I'm going to assume that I fall into the neutral category; pretty sure I haven't really done much to either hugely endear myself to anyone, nor to piss anyone off.

Unrecognized, except in the homestuck group. I don't really post on the forums as much as I used to though...

While I'd probably need other people to confirm this for me (just saying you're well recognised and popular doesn't make it so, especially on the internet) if I had to guess I'd probably say if people did recognise me then their reaction is probably neutral while occasionally dipping into either good or bad depending on whether I'm agreed or disagreed with on a particular topic of discussion.

Am I 'famous' or otherwise notable?

I think I do recognise your avatar...

what I want to ask is I tries some Dr Pepper once and the stuff was HORRIBLE..it tastes like medicine, did they actually make a soft drink to taste like medicine?
I've heard that before. I think it's the odd combination of flavored they add to it that might turn people off sometimes. I do wish all my medicine tasted like Dr. Pepper though.

I always feel like that though, i'm probably just fishing for sympathy...
But i do worry that i'm far too annoying and/ or needy.
Wrong of all accounts. ;)
I feel all tingly now...

eh peple must think im a pretty cool guy, i post topics and doesnt afraid of anything.
In seriousness I would be surprised if any of you could remember my name
I remember you. You have superhuman tolerance to insults.

OT :
I don't usually party that hard like i did, but when i do, i suffer for 3-4 days.
So, today i'm still a little drunk and stuff - my mind doesn't work the way it should.
Because of that i can't for the love of God recall the name of this effect...

It is about intelligent people and their tendency to lower their significance when asked about "objective" evaluation of self. It's not Hawthorne effect, it's not Dunning-Kruger, it's not "Humble servant" condition or "hungry ego" but it's something similar...

I don't know all of you, but i had opportunity to see some of you in action more than once and i think you're all suffering from this effect. Honestly, even with all those occasional tensions, heated debates and trolling The EscapistMagazine forums are full of likable, amiable people. :)

interesting..however this is the interent, and I figured the "recognition" factor would be alot less than real life interaction, since here its anonamous and often quick

I'd like to think Nuetral, I've managed to annoy several people with my opinions, but their mine dammit, and I'm entitled to them. I've also said things that many users have agreed with, but on the whole, I'm unrecognized. There's just so many people here.

Bad. I often get into heated arguments where I feel villianized and victimized, usually resulting in me feeling egotistical and superior, albeit alone.
But occasionally I get a message saying how right I am, which makes me feel better.
