Poll: What do you think of furries?

You are confusing furry with bestiality... There is no correlation between the two.

Furry is an obsession with anthropomorphic animal-people such as Sonic, Krystal, etc. and really no different than people that are really in to anime. (there's people that fetishize anime and dress up as characters for cons. Same with Furries.)

Bestiality is the aforementioned fucking of animals.

No I know exactly what a furry is. And their obsession with these cross breed animals is just their way of legitimising wanting to fuck animals. Just like loli fetishists argue that "in the canon this 4 year old looking girl is really a 1500 year old vampire so its totally okay."
I have no problem with either group of creepy folks as long as they do not judge others and yeah, do not try to delude others into thinking its different because of reason X.

I can assure you that neither I or any of the other furries that I know want to screw, or do any sexual act whatsoever to any kind of animal other than human... -_-

Not bothered by any fetish, you can't personally control how nurture and nature is going to twist your desires so if someone likes something, good game to them. They didn't ask to be attracted to what they are, persecuting someone for their sexual desires is as bad as sexism or racism.

And yes this extends to paedophilia in my eyes, sure they shouldn't act on the impulse at all, but as long as they don't, they shouldn't be hated for being dealt an unlucky card in life they couldn't control.

So yeah, not even remotely bothered about furries, it's a relatively mundane, and common, fetish compared to some, and I don't even care about any of the more out there ones.

Mostly I can deal with them, especially when its other people on the internet, since I can always just do something else. Furries in real life, though.. at least if we're talking the actual fursuit people, then no- Im really weirded out by that. I'd constantly want the person to take off their costume if they expected me to take them seriously. That and just the fact that the idea of wanting to be like an animal sets off this subconscious disregard for that person as they seem to deny all that's good about being Human, the species they already belong to.

Now, as for the romance/sexual aspect that furries might be a part of- well I don't share the fetish, so I dont get it, like any other fetish I don't share. Fine with it because no ones forcing it on me and I can just walk away.
