Poll: What do you think of the Escapist Arcade?

So it's been a couple months since the Escapist introduced its new arcade section and I think it's time to gauge the public reaction to it.

Personally, I don't see it doing too well. By going in to flash games they are competing with Kongregate and I don't think they have much of a chance. Including the fact that Kongregate has thousands of games to play, I believe it also saves your progress to your profile, and has achievements.

So was this a smart move by the Escapist? Will the arcade bring traffic to the site? Are they doing enough to beat the competition? Tell me what you think of the whole thing.

Apart from Hatfall, the rest is kind of...blah and trying too hard to be Newgrounds. In fact, I think there's a couple that are IN Newgrounds (because some games show up in multiple places according to certain flash game licenses).

I barely played enough Hatfall to get a picture for that Twitter competition and that's it.

I don't think it cost The Escapist any money (I'm guessing that's all stuff Defy owns already since I believe Addicting Games is one of their sisters if I'm not mistaken) so it can't hurt. I just have no real interest in playing little Flash games with what little spare time I have nowadays when I could be playing an actual game. I'm sure there are Flash games worth playing out there somewhere but I'm not going to take the time to dig for them...

Tried Hatfall. That was pretty good. Haven't tried any others.

I'll get to the other games eventually (only tried Hatfall), probably when badges will be included in the Arcade.

I didn't even know there was an arcade. If hatfall is free on there, what's the point of buying it on my phone?

Tried Hatfall, liked it, haven't played anything else.

Played Hatfall, thought it was mildly amusing but quickly found it boring. Frozen Islands is decent but a little lacking and could use some refining.

I've long lost my interest in simple flash games, so I don't have any feelings on it. It's fine that it's there, I guess.

Hatfall was fun. If they put badges in for the Escapist Arcade games, though, they'd all get played for sure.

I played Hatfall, but if I wantother flash games, I go to Armor Games, which has a much bigger and better selection.

I played Hatfall for... 2 seconds. Other than that, if I wanted to play flash games, I'd go to Kongregate.
