The pope is infallible according to Catholic traditions. Hence it really doesn't matter how anachronistic, homophobic, or hypocritical he is.

He still deserves to be removed from office for saying I will burn in hell and God hates me for something I cannot control.
Yeah. Even, if I recall, John Paul II didn't condemn homosexuality, as long as it isn't physical. Okay, that's a bit of too much "physical", but as long as you don't end up naked in beds doing things. Weird things I do not wish to know about.

But homosexualism is not bad. Maybe it's just the wrong Pope they have chosen.

Your spelling of homosexuality is fail.

The college of Cardinals chose the pope who would uphold Catholic traditions, irrelevent of the consequences.

So being gay is ok as long as you don't have gay sex? What?

Sorry, but there is no religion that would allow that. Even Buddhism, one of the most peaceful religions out there. If not THE most.

Homosexualism and homosexuality are so close to each other it's really the same. Even wiki redirects it so.

Same goes for other languages. Polish "homoseksualizm" and "homoseksualność" are the same things.

I just hate his role, his position. I don't care about the relgious side of it, but a man with that much power and wealth should do something with it. No, I don't mean 'donate to charities: x, y and z,' I mean have actual sway over the world. Stop wars, and not by just saying it. Feed and shelter the homeless and not by just building a few morew churches.

The first pope that sells off the Vatican, and uses all his money to do something for the good of the world, will be the first pope I like. As for now, they can sit on their thrones of gold and be feed the meals fit for only the queen and be judged, cause I'm pretty sure he's going to hell!

God: "Dude, the pope-mobile cost how much?! You could totally feed dozens of starving families for a year! Did you even read the bible?"

I could go for days about Führer Ratzinger and the church, but it's early in the morning and I don't wanna be depressed.

They all seem to have outdated views...although at least the last pope helped with solidarity movement in Poland...

Also, I'm pretty sure the position of pope isn't in the bible.

My dictionary (Oxford Australian Student's 2nd ed.) doesn't include the word homosexualism. We are not speaking Polish and comparing two relatively unrelated languages makes little sense.

He represents something that i really resent. Christianity is the orst as they are constantly looking to recruit new members to follow this magical being who for some reason or another loves everyone. Ban it.
Catholicism isn't christianity in the least, they don't even follow the Bible for goodness sake.

I don't really care to be honest.

What I do care about though is the fact that Pope Benedict looks not only exactly like Emperor Palpatine, but also like Malcolm Betruger from Doom 3.

Coincidence? I THINK NOT.

The pope is like a cross between Mr Burns and Emperor Palpatine. I mean seriously, have you looked at this guy!?

Go ahead, crush the laws of the world. If that makes you happy.

Now, pull the stick out, it might get you an infection.
