I hope the next fallout runs more smoothly and the weapons are more sensible. In New Vegas I used guns and it seemed to me that the only ones worth using are the sniper rifle, varmint rifle, 9mm, and .44 magnum with the rest being pretty pointless. Especially the service rifle that thing's fire rate was atrocious.

I would really like to see them get Van Buren out, that looked pretty interesting.
Wow, SOMEONE remembers :)
Yeah, I was never able to play any Fallout games from before Fallout 3 and I think it would be great to know how they are, if they did Van Buren.

Dual Wielding: Because nothing is more hardcore than charging face-first into a Caesar's Legion patrol, Raider encampment, or Paradise Falls-type of place with two sub machineguns.

Admittedly, I think it would be great to see another one set in D.C., with more factions and whatnot. I think that would be amazing. Another trip to Point Lookout, an expanded Pitt region (Hoping for it, however unlikely), and maybe even a view of The Commonwealth. Admittedly, I'd be quite proud to see St. Louis, Missouri featured, or even some of Illinois/Iowa. (Why Iowa? Just 'cause.)

I could probably rant about what I'd like to see (more companions, freeform missions (randomly generated missions, like bounty hunter missions and stuff), more perks, etc.), but I'll spare the time and rant about it somewhere else.

I want Obsidian to write the story, then back the fuck off and let Bethesda do all the actual game-work.

"The Pitt" snafu doesn't even come close to the amount of fail from Obsidian in New Vegas (or Alpha Protocol for that matter).

Also, I'd like the impending BoS civil war/mission change to finally come to a head and be solved.

Most of those I agree with so I haven't voted for a single one.

One thing I would add is the removal of the fast travel system. I am using a mod that removes it and am enjoying the experience much more than I did previously.
So you downloaded a mod where you wont use the fast travel system? Why not just restrain your self and not do it. I would like if they have hardcore plus where it'll remove the Fast travel, instead of the whole entire thing completely.

Put is somewhere outside of the U.S.; Great Britain, maybe. I'd be interested to see how a 1950's-esque Britain would react to nuclear winter.

I'd actually much rather it stay in the US, I just can't see a Fallout game set anywhere else. With the way the game currently is i'm not a huge fan of adding mounts either. Everything else would be nice.

Having Hardcore Mode actually feel hardcore would be lovely. In New Vegas the only real difference was that your companions could die for real.

I'd also like the world to feel bigger. No more generic NPC's please. As bad as Oblivion and Morrowind were about that, at least every non-monster/guard had a unique face and name. Even if they did nothing with it.

How about bethesda tries to make a new IP rather than milking the Fallout and Elder Scrolls franchises to death -.-

I'd hate to keep sending this guy messages about being quoted, but he is absolutely right. Bethesda did such a horrible job of writing. From being uncreative (using the exact same enemies from the first two games with the exact same motivations and goals) to the way the wasteland interacted with each other (which didn't happen) to creating a believable post-apocalyptic universe, they failed on every account. It still baffles me that people actual think it was a well done game.
Other than simplifying everything to black and white I think they also did alot of things right

like your origins..was excellently done and gave you some emotional attatchment to the whole thing

and well...I think the environment worked really well

anyway New vegas imporved upon fallout 3

and to be kinda honest I think they captured some of the fallout spirit

I did try, after a while I ended up doing it anyway and missing half the fun of exploration.

I meant an option to do it rather than not have it there at all.

Second: Less bugs.
Third: I would like the turn based combat from Fallout 2 back.

I don't think the game would work outside the US, because the main idea for fallout's dark humor is the unwavering American patriotism, and although their country has brought death a destruction to the world, you're still a proud American!
(It could work in Canada... But I don't think Canada was nuked, if I remember the lore correctly, so that would make a game called fallout have no fallout in it. So yeah...)

Mounts would be interesting, and I don't see why it wouldn't work. So maybe...

I don't really know how you can improve the weapon system anymore, to improve it they'd have to change the system all together, because the system used in FO3 and NV are as good as that system can get in my opinion.

Different mobs? Obviously most rpg's are famous for doing 'palette swaps' on enemies, but i'm sure Bethesda can pull through.

Less copy-pasta'd dungeons, well it's a huge world all things considered. I doubt Bethesda have the time, creativity and budget to craft each dungeon individually and make them all a unique place. So with that in mind, I think fallouts dungeons are as good as they can get. Maybe not as modular.

All of the above.

Mounts: Cars and Bikes or mabey a caravan or bus? (moveable home?) (customiseable)

Based in somewhere not in the US: Australia, come on that would be awesome, mutent Kangaroos!....killing the Enclave...but Australian.

The weapons system must be reworked: throwing knifes and lightsabers?

There should be more interesting and awesome perks and traits: Like Fallout 3, make your guy feel like a over mutated human super powers >_0

Hardcore mode should be even more hardcore: Sleeping, can build your own fire.

More different mobs: NCR Vs Enclave Vs Brotherhood Vs England (Based in Australia)

Less of those Copy/Pasted dungeons: I felt okay with New Vages but couldnt hurt.

The Ability to Repair vehicles (there is enough broken motorbikes laying around) and the ability to fortify a town (small) once all the baddies are cleared out. Ditch fast travel and add in maybe a horse or as mentioned motorbike. Other than that its pretty solid to me anyway.

and also get rid of Obsidian, i had zero problems with Fallout 3 but NV is a shocker
