Poll: What else should have the "Guitar hero" treatment?

Over the years we've had the entire classic "rock band" get the gaming Sim treatment. we have the Guitar, Bass, Drums and Vocals. But what else could we add? Double Bass? Banjo Hero? maybe mix it up with some wind and brass instruments like Flute or Trumpet hero. hell! let's have an entire orchestra in there. It would be interesting to see the release date for Harp Hero that's for sure.

so tell me Escapist's if you could give any Instrument the "Hero" experience. what would it be?

I'd like to see ether Xylophone Hero or Banjo Zero.
I wouldn't play ether but I'd like to see them.

The first would be pretty average but the second you would play a old hill billy finally making it big time.
It would be glorious.

"Piano Hero" style games already exist, as it is, but they're less like Guitar Hero and more like Rocksmith, in that you're using plugging in real instruments and could use it to play for real. That's more or less what I'd want if someone's gonna try and throw themselves on music games with instruments; the ability to learn how to actually play the instruments for real!

The harp for the lulz factor, but none of those instruments really is the same as guitar. The thing about guitar hero was more the 'hero' part that came with playing the guitar. Even though most of those other instruments are harder, people prefer guitarists. As someone that plays both guitar and other instruments, I find it baffling.
Rocksmith is the real guitar hero. I played a demo at Reading Festival and it seemed really cool, although the song range was limited at the time.

I think kazoo hero would be pretty fantastic. It would be overly obnoxious, but I think it needs to happen over any other crazy instrument.

When I saw the term "Guitar hero treatment" I thought you meant killing off a franchise due to oversaturation, but ok.

Saxophone is a pretty funky instrument IMO and would easily translate into a game.

I would kill for that, X-Japan are now seeming to get alot of recognition in the west now as well but not as much as they should.

If I remember right, double bass was already an option for some of the rhythm games out there. Particularly the ones focusing more on metal.

I would say the harpsichord because I love it, but that'd fall into the "Piano" section.

The one I always wanted to see was Violin Hero.

Piano Hero has already been done (Rock Band 3 keys), there's a Danish (I think) Flash game that was basically Flute Hero:
and there's been at least three parodic mockups of (what else) Cowbell Hero.
