Yeah. Not really big on the promotional circuts. Heck my local Gamestop didn't even have it for pre-order. But apparently this September is the release date. I saw an ad for it on Steam so I'll probably just buy the download of it.happysock said:Their doing a third one :O a must buy!!!Pinstar said:Tropico 3
LOVED the original. The 2nd one never existed in my version or reality. Since this is a re-make of the original not the non-existant 2nd one, then this is on my radar.

According to the IGN preview, despite a different developer they're staying true to the game's tongue-in-cheek nature.

This as well. Hook me up with a good ol' Marauder or even a Catapult, I want some next-gen 'mechs to scrap.odubya23 said:I hear there's a new MechWarrior game coming out based on the Succession Wars! Let me at that Warhammer, I know the Atlas's weak spot is it's auto cannon ammo!
Dragon Age is the game currently in production by BioWare, right?LewsTherin said:Dragon Age, Borderlands, and a few other PC games I can't recall the titles of.
I have played MGS 1, 3, and 4. I'm not saying SX and MGS are BAD games, i'm saying I don't like them. Too modern for my tastes. I'm a fan of Midevil or Scifi. And am REALLY getting sick of WW1 and WW2 Or somewhere near them. I'd just rather use a good knife or sword like they used to rather than the guns of today. Anyway, I just don't like those two series'.Daedalus1942 said:Yes, you CAN call Splinter Cell and Metal Gear stealth games.Tanfastic said:Assassins Creed 2 for me, its the only sneak around game I like, that is IF you can call Metal Gears and Splinter Cells sneak around games.
MGS4 wasn't stealthy and much more action oriented, unless you're trying to get the Stealth Pack, but the previous ones were great. If you got spotted, you were toast, so, that calls me in to question have you played any of the others, besides 4?
And, how isn't splinter cell a "sneak around" game? You knock out, or kill people and have 3 alarms before you fail the mission. Sometimes you only have one alarm, and if the AI find a body you've hidden poorly, you're toast.
Those two are much better examples of Assassin's Creed. AC, you complete an assassination and then run and hide. How is that even close to sneaking?
You should play the Thief series. Then you might understand the concept of a stealth/sneaking game. Though you might shit your pants in the castle towards the end of III.
