I have a problem over what game I should buy. Now that I am a legal age to work part-time in Ontario my parents have banished my allowance, and I only have some of my Christmas/Birth Day money left until I can find a job, so I need to decide on what games I am going to buy. I am going to buy Mass Effect 2 no matter what of course, so that is $69.99 out now. I can now either get,
Devil Survivor & Pokemon Heart Gold
Uncharted 2 & Devil Survivor
Uncharted 2 & Heart Gold
Bioshock 2

I am kind of leaning towards option 1 & 2 because Devil Survivor is a SRPG, but I cannot choose, because I have no clue when I will get a job.

Edit---- Since no one knows what the hell Devil Survivor is
Turn based Strategy RPG Hybrid with multiple ending according to how you play and treat other characters.

Edit number 2------
I did clear and enjoy first Bioshock.

Any of the ones which dont have pokemon in them. I'd go with the Bioshock one.

I have no idea what the hell Devil Survivor is, since I've never heard of it ever.

So I'll go with second or third, because I thought Uncharted 2 was absolutely hilarious in terms of how unfortunate the protaganist was. Schaden freude has never been such an understatement to my entertainment.

Mass Effect 2 and Bioshock. Bioshock is brilliant and, although I didn't like Mass Effect, laods of people did, so the sequel should be just as good if you enjoyed the first.

I really liked Bioshock so I say go with that option, but it's really going to come down to you.

Did you play/like the first Bioshock? If you didn't, I would say go get the first one and play that and then, if you like it, get Bioshock 2.

Mass Effect 2, Uncharted 2, Pokemon Heart Gold!

i'd get pokemon heart gold myself if i didnt have older brothers who severely judge me when i play games like that =[ haha

plus you'll be getting 2 of the most awesome games in recent years (havent played uncharted myself, as i am an xbox 360 owner, but it looks freakin amazing!)
and i have no skepticism towards the fact that mass effect 2 will be the closest game to perfection I'll ever play =D

I love how his first reaction to having no money is to go and buy games...

OT: I would get the Uncharted/Pokemon combo personally, but that could be just me...
I really liked Uncharted 1 and have heard nothing but goodness from Uncharted 2 , and I havn't played a pokemon game in a while, and I would have no interest in Mass Effect 2... so perhaps I am not the one you should be listening to...

Really It depends on what your tastes are... not everyone elses, but if you really can't decide, I would advise any combo with uncharted in it.

If you have any other online shooters then you shouldn't buy Uncharted 2. Renting it would be better. It's a good game, but even with the unlockables I lost intrest after the first playthrough.

Honestly If you don't know when you are going to get a job, then you should probably just hold off until Mass Effect 2. Seriously it's only 4 days away, you'll survive. Pick something up out of the PS2 bin.

Uncharted 2 is great, but I love Bioshock. Why don't you have a Mass Effect 2, Bioshock 2, Uncharted 2 option!?

So long as you get Mass Effect 2, any one of these combinations will suffice. My preference however, is the Bioshock 2 choice. Though, my ideal choice would be Mass Effect 2, Bioshock 2 and Uncharted 2.

Mass Effect 2's so nearly here, I want it NOW...

I have nothing else to buy besides comics & books, and my one of my many Aunts gave me a gift card to a book store.

Mass Effect 2 and Uncharted 2 seem like good games that will satisfy you for months to come.

And Devil Survivor seems interesting, that would definitely be good to include as well.

I didn't mean it like it was a bad thing... If I didn't spend all my money on other things that I won't mention, I buy a fuck load of games too... Especially Uncharted 2

Bioshock option has the most votes?
I mean, Bioshock 2 is good and all (well, at least it looks good so far), but better than Uncharted 2 AND another game? Especially since it's not out, so for all we know it might be really crappy.
I totally went for option 2. SRPGs are awesome, and the DS usually has the best bunch of them. I haven't played Devil Survivor, but the bit of research I did on it doesn't cast it in a bad light. Even if that game was bad, I'd still take ME2+Uncharted 2 over ME2+Bioshock 2.

I would say ME2 and Bioshock 2. I'm currently not-so-patiently waiting for my copy to come in and the videos about it look awesome. I'd also say Bioshock because I thought the first one was pretty good, even though I don't like those kinds of games.
