I think just riding a horse in any game is quite relaxing, i think my favorite horse to ride is Agro from Shadow of the colossus. Or maybe Epona from Zelda can not decided.

Team fortress 2. seeing hilarious ragdolls and hearing awesome comments from the cast is my way of unwinding whenever I need to.

The only thing that would make it better was if there weren't any snipers... damn you headshoting bastards!

Civilization works for me!
Lately I have been playing this dungeon crowling, very simple game, fate from wildtangent, it relaxes me too, not much going on, but no stress either and doesnt bore me.

You ever have a bad day, or something in one game frustrates you to the point that you contemplate tossing your tv out a window? I have. So I want to know what game do you play to vent some of that steam? I have yet to find a good one myself, but one that i have that will do til i find a good one is Saints Row 2.
Actually, I know I will cop alot of flack about this, but Final Fantasy XII. Once you get the Zodiac Spear (those goddamn 4 item pots), the game is actually quite therapeutic. I found the battle system in that game, with no random battles, just walking up to something and watching as my caracters decimated the creature with gambits, for me was a very cathartik experience.
A pleasant change from the Difficulty of Naruto: Rise of a Ninja.
Which one is that? I remember X and i have XIII, but i can't remember which one in the series is a mmorpg. But yes, the easy battles are great. The hard ones, i.e. the Chapter 9 boss in XIII can be stressful.

Crushed a controller with my bear hands.

AVP for relaxation, I shouldn't confuse it with sedatation, mind you.

My understanding is that XI is an MMO (haven't played it) and XIV will be an MMO also.
XII is the one with Vaan the scene-kid sky pirate. Memory refreshed?

For those who recommended anything in the civilization series, I suck at that game. Even the easiest computer destroys me. Not that i am bashing on the game. If i were to magically get better, it would be a great series to play.

Then Team Fortress 2 and Halo are also good. Specially when you play with lots of friends and just goof off. Never ceases to be funny to blind-side someone with a warthog.

And i agree with you Sworm. Snipers can just kill the fun of any match, that's why i try not to use them too much. Once when playing TF2 someone with the gamertag Anonymous just slaughtered me. and he only picked on me, every time i would spawn, there he would be, waiting for me to leave the safe zone, and never killed anyone else, just let them walk by.

and to me another good one is Nazi Zombies. I think it would be better if i could actually find more than 1 person to do it with me. I don't trust match-making for such things as that. Im always up for it lately.

I remember now. That one looked interesting, but almost all of them are to me, except the mmo one. Most have such deep characters and plot.

I've never felt that annoyed at all, however I usually find just playing a single-player game on a difficulty that doesn't make me die every five minutes suffice to make me calm down. Although it depends what I'm annoyed at. Playing more games to cure my anger at games usually doesn't work.

Unfortunately, apart from Balthier and Fran, the characters in XII were far from deep, but the battle system is (for me) one of the most enjoyable in the series for a while (bar XII).

Flow is pretty relaxing for a around half an hour or so.

I've never even broken a controller let alone a TV.

Pokémon, what their so simple you'd have to be crazy to get pissed at them.... Although the fucking random number generator can be unforgiving at times when you trying to catch something.

Never thrown a television out of a window, but when I was a wee little chubling playing Pokemon on her GameBoy, I would sometimes get so FURIOUS at all the Zubats and Rattats that suddenly appeared every two steps when I was walking through caves that I would RAAAGE, lose total control of my sanity, and chew on the machine until I calmed down. There are still tiny baby teeth bite marks all over it, haha.

Nowadays I relax with TF2. Something about blasting good music while running around and bopping people on the head with a baseball bat is so very soothing. And no, no more biting, even though it is sometimes very tempting.

GTA: Vice City. nothing has ever calmed me down like walking into a disco with a fully loaded mini gun and just UNLOAD.

Easy tiger, GB's are not meant to be eaten.
All the Zubats annoyed me, but pokémon yellow meant Pikachu starter, which meant a little lightening rods.
PIKACHU used Thundershock!
Super effective!
Enemy ZUBAT fainted.

Rinse lather and repeat.
