Hello there! I am just not sure as to what to get next. The last game I got was MW2(loved) for Christmas and I have bills to pay so it takes months for me to get a new game but since I will be getting a tax refund soon I want to get a game. Although I do want at least 2 maybe all 3, I can't have them all. So I pose this question to ya'll on the escapist what game should I buy next? I have a 360, no live, and I unfortunately don't have as much time to play them as I would like. Maybe between 2 to 8 hours a week if I am lucky.
Borderlands looks like a fun and funny shooter with good replay potential. Darksiders looks cool, also the Zelda aspect is very nice. (Zelda is my favorite Nintendo property) Mass Effect 2 looks good and have heard good things but I never played the first and don't know if I should play the first to enjoy the full experience or it doesn't matter, but if it is required I can afford both.
Please explain your choices so that I can make a better decision. Thank you for all ya'lls help in this matter and please no flaming.

FINALLY.

I applaud you for giving me a "Don't Care" option. Never in these polls have I been allowed to express my true feelings.

Borderlands is very fun, but I just got Mass Effect 2 and it KICKS ASS. I got it yesterday and I've already played it for 13 hours.

In all truth, I don't care all that much, but if you really wanted to spend your money on something, then buy whatever rings your bell.

Don't rely on other people for games, this is what we call exploring. Use your own knowledge and make a wise decision on what you want to buy.

I would get Borderlands if you have someone to play with; it's a LOT more fun with at least one other person. I've heard good things about the rest, but have yet to play any of them, so I'm gonna say Borderlands!

Good point but I am indecisive and am just using your responses as suggestions to help me make up my own mind. I was just going to toss a coin but then I heard great things for ME2 and I said damn.

If I was you, I'd buy a whole lot of ice cream. Or some system of a down mechandise.

Seriously, go with mass effect 1 and 2 if you want something that will last you a while.

Well I found a cheap Mass Effect 1 and have been playing it for a few days and it is enjoyable but annoying in parts, so far. I am liking it, so I may be sold on the series. Thanks to all who voted and helped me with my conundrum.

Borderlands was fun for about 7 hours and then just becomes a useless grindfest.

How about you get a PSP and Katamari Forever?

Mass Effect 2 is a must play and should be at the top of your list.
That said you won't get as much out of it if you haven't played the original, so that might be your best place to start.

I'd suggest Mass Effect 2 or Dragon Age: Origins then either Borderlands or Left 4 Dead 2. The first two seem to have more replay value. Borderlands is nice for the high level of weapon customization but Left 4 Dead 2 actually made me feel like I was shooting different weapons-and the AI was rather good, imo. Bioshock 2 should be coming out soon as well and you might enjoy getting to play the first Big Daddy. Good hunting!
