I know that there have been a lot of these lately, but I need a good singleplayer game to tide me over for a while.

Get Just Cause 2, blow everything up, enjoy the scenery and watch cheesy cutscenes.

Dragon Age for epic single player. For some reason my vote's not showing up though.

Just Cause 2, not the best story but an amazing sandbox. The most fun I've had in ages.

Wait for better games. All of those are just OK, nothing worth spending money on. But if you absolutely need to get a game, get Batman Arkham Asylum. Surprised me how much fun it was.

For computer I think Oblivion is great, especially for the option of editing if you download the Construction Set. It's also cheap; I think the Game of the Year Edition (with the Shivering Isles Expansion and the Knights of the Nine plugin) is less than $30.00.

PS: *To Gaderael* It's ME! I sent you a message!

Already have and played Batman: AA. It was a great game, the last boss was disappointing though.

I think Just cause 2 will tide you over for a long long while. There are whole sections of map I haven't even flown over yet and I've been playing it since launch.

Dragon Age will hold you over for a while if you want to play through with every different character class but I'm having more fun with JC2.

I personaly wasn't crazy about Just Cause 2. The sandbox is very fun in the beginning but it gets old after a while. then again, I never really seem to get as much fun out of sandbox games as most people do and a lot of people have been having alot of fun with this game so it really depends on you. just beware, the horrific voice acting and cut scenes are a pain to sit through.

Dragon Age is an amazing game and has a great singleplayer experience that will keep you busy for a few good hours.

Splinter Cell looks like a great game, especialy if you have a friend that would be interested in doing the co-op missions, but will most likely be very short (in comparison to JC's sandbox and dragon age's long campaign and replayability) and not keep you busy for very long if you don't plan on playing it online.

Overall, I would recommend that you go for Dragon Age but it's really up to you, they are all very different games.

Dragon Age has a very lengthy campaign, and imo one of the best single player games out there.

Good point: the quality of Dragon Age's cutscenes are way better but there are also a few too many. I think I've spent more time talking to people than killing Darkspawn.

JC2 does have some really bad cutscenes and VOs but thankfully they are short and if you like open world chaos, that part makes up for it.

It does really depend on what you're in the mood for: Tolkien or Michael Bay.
