I didn't develop a fanboyish love for them until I got to play as the Arbiter.

I refuse to vote. I have, since the blocky and horribly animated days of the first Halo, completely loved The Flood. They are a perfect parasitic species and to be one (Not a victim but an actual control spore) would be epic. I want to jump to a body, boosting it's abilities and removing all physical barriers and killing anyone who gets in my way, and if my host is destroyed I will simply hop into another one and keep going.
It's like turning bodies into mechs. =D
I'm not a Halo fan at all but man I love the Flood.
