I'm a self-made lefty living in a righty world, and it stinks. I, too, was using both left and right hands for writing and coloring in Kindergarten, but my teacher made me pick one. So I picked left, not knowing what it would do to me for the rest of my life. But mostly, I find that handed-ness is a product not of comfortability, but of practice. I can print very legibly with my right hand, but right-handed batting is still beyond me, mostly because I don't really enjoy competitive sports, because I suck at about all of them, due to 1. lack of practice and 2. general issues with coordination. But if I practiced, I'd get better with it. I use scissors right-handed because I have to, otherwise they don't cut properly. I use a mouse right-handed because that's how I learned to. My right hand is actually stronger than my left, but that's because I use my left hand for finesse and my right hand for things like throwing and catching; the power stuff. Should I mention that I pet the bean with my right hand too?
