He pokes his head out every now and again, but he's running around all the time when I'm with my girlfriend :D

I also realize that this can be misinterpreted... no, my girlfriend is not my inner child o_o

There's no "inner" about it. Only two major things have changed since I was a kid:
1) I have to have a job in order to fund my MLP and Disney requirements.
2) Boys are no longer icky.

He comes back once in a while for a short stint or two. Mainly when I'm building stuff (usually doom fortresses in RTSes) or when I'm doing really stupid stuff (RIP Halo 3 private matches; all of us humming the Team Rocket theme whilst playing hide-and-seek; we had a ton of immature fun).

Often its like "Hah, you're doing that and calling it fun?" He's made me realise that ultimately, most of teenage years are wasted, never to be regained; I've kept out of a lot of ultimately stupid stuff and I'm grateful for it; probably the reason I'm quite introverted.

I ate him, he tasted like cotton candy...and tears.

I take him everywhere, much to my friends and work colleagues chagrin.

I'm 18 three months until I'm 19 and I have all my star wars toys laid out on my carpet and I spent 10 minutes yesterday running around the house with Slave 1 shouting pew pew and firing the inbuilt plastic missiles at my cats.My inner child is alive and kicking by all accounts.

My inner child is my best bud these days - I slake his thirst for adventure by watching as many animated shows and movies as possible, most recently The Lion King in 3D WHICH WAS AWESOME!

I tend to become very hyper active when I'm on my own, or have been at home for long periods of time. I also totally love the rain, so I think I'll go for the "taking him out on rainy days" option.

This is why I can't wait for the winter to come.

I still pretend to sword fight occasionally. It's a surprisingly good workout.

I'm not that old but am noticeably more mature then those around me. My inner child and I still talk and we still watch spongebob.

I'm immature about a lot and I take next to nothing seriously making my inner child one of the leading things in my life...though the things I do take seriously put my inner child on a piece of ice and set him adrift.

My inner child is currently casing houses in the neighbourhood to hit on Hallowe'en... and he spent all day playing road hockey.

I firmly believe that you can't get out, if you refuse to grow up.

My inner child in my died at around age 14. It was then that I was opened up to the suffering and misery in this world, that everyone must experience as part of fundamentalism. I learned that people are often wrong, yet are willing to kill to prove they are right... Which they never are, I learnt that ideas can be broken down in a fraction of a second, religion that people have believed for thousands of years isn't true, and every girlfriend I will ever have won't love me.

Happy birthday... to me.... Happy birth-day..... to... me....... WAAAAAAAA

At about age 13 I dressed down a kid 4 years older than myself for playing around with flammable material.

He figured he didn't need to listen to a kid, ignored me, and promptly managed to set both his shoes and a chair on fire. That was a more... dramatic example of a long present trend. I've always tended to be more serious in attitude than my peers.

My inner child gave up on me and retired at about that point. He pokes his head back in every once in a while, but never stays long, seems to be allergic to jaded sarcasm.
