I don't remember them cancelling it, I just remember a weird as shit last episode than didn't make any sense.

I watched an episode or two, didn't think much of it either way, all I really remember is that the boss dog annoyed me when he kept repeating himself for emphasis.
I never got all the hate on it either, it's not like people were being tied down and forced to watch it, nor were they paying for it. Just another case of self entitled gamers I guess.

This is pretty much the reason it got canned, particularly the bit about not watching past the pilot, a group I belong to as well.Marter said:
I assume the contact was ending and they didn't expect another season, so they responded with a 'screw you' to the many nay-sayers. Honestly, I wish we could get uncensored information about what happened to the various series' that disappear, but that seems unlikely.
I watched the pilot and gave up on it, it just wasn't as funny as Apocalypse Lane was, please don't bring it back.
Well it really wasn't funny. The timing was wrong, the voice acting had no pathos and none of the cast members had memorable or even vaguely interesting characters. It wasn't BAD and it certainly had a lot of effort put into it, but in the end it just wasn't funny or interesting enough to keep the interest necessary. On a network where something as well produced as ENN wasn't getting enough support to keep it going, something like Game Dogs was doomed to failure.
It wasn't great, but it was something for me to kill time with during the day. Nevertheless, I was incredibly pissed with the way it ended because it felt incredibly lazy and it reminded me of the Apocalypse Lane ending which I also felt was quite disappointing. (They save the world, only to have a bridge dropped on them with 0% humour intended). I'm left feeling concerned that Doraleus (I don't remember how his name is spelt) is going to end in much the same way.

Personally, I found this fucking hilarious, and wish the series had continued.

I never watched an episode of this, ever. It looked wholly uninteresting. I am not so hard up for entertainment I will watch anything with the word game in it. Even if there's talking dogs. In fact, perhaps most especially not if there's talking dogs.
