YAY! DEPRESSING MAJORITY! Thats something I've noticed here. When ever a poll comes up like this, the secular side always has a commanding lead. Now its either, religious people don't like this site, or there are alot of closet atheists out there.

I like Terry Pratchetts idea that whatever you believe in is what you'll get.
Personally I like the idea of reincarnation.

I'm a fan of something akin to "Pascal's Wager". What I think doesn't matter. There's still the chance God exists, and thus, I should ingratiate myself to him, so that I can end up in Heaven if it exists. If there is no Heaven, I was screwed to start, so at least I didn't lose anything anyway.
Yeah, because it's not like there are any other religions aside from Christianity out there, amirite? I'm guessing a person doesn't get rewarded by Allah for giving praise to Vishnu, if you know what I mean. So Pascal's Wager is great if one arbitrarily cuts down all possible options to a set of two in order to somehow justify ones beliefs. Besides, didn't we learn from the South Park movie that only the Mormons got it right and everyone else went to hell?

*Gasping for air*

I'm going to die from telling people this. It raises my blood pressure, you know.

Read, then post. Read, *then* post.
Alright. Now here's what you do: Read the first line of my post. It's quoted above. Notice anything? "Something akin to Pascal's Wager". What's "akin" mean?

Let's turn to Google for help. akin(p): similar in quality or character; "a feeling akin to terror"; "kindred souls"; "the amateur is closely related to the collector". [http://www.google.com/search?q=define%3Aakin&ie=utf-8&oe=utf-8&aq=t&rls=org.mozilla:en-US:eek:fficial&client=firefox-a]

What does this mean? Why, it means that I'm not saying "Pascal's Wager", but rather, that Pascal's Wager is close to my system of belief.

I worship Hojo. Hojo doesn't exist as an entity, but rather, is my way of telling whatever god/God/gods that exist that I recognize their existence, but can't tell who actually knows who they are, and who likes the shiny mercedes that the church money bought them.

*Rushes off, breathing deeply.*

Well, that time I didn't die...

voted nothingness for the record, but i see it as almost impossible for re-incarnation because there hasn't been a constant number of humans being born. Of course there are ways people would get around this argument, but doesn't seem logical, niether does heaven and hell i guess that makes me a whiny atheist.

You just cease to exist, most adequate answer would be nothingness.
You don't cease to exist, you just cease to live. You move on to a higher level of being. Or go to the afterlife. You never cease EXISTING. Silly.

I voted for the second option. I also don't believe in the first or third options. Fourth is viable (Though all I see for "Other" is "moving on to a higher level of being" and "becoming a ghost.").

I think that when we die, I mean, as soon as we die, the very moment we die; we revert back to when we were being born, and we run through our lives again, and again, and again in a never-ending cycle of... Well, never-ending-ness.
