videogames had made me become addicted to uncharted 2. i cant play a whole game without going back ti uncharted 2. i tried playing assassins creed 2. if was fun and all, but i set the controllers down and put in some uncharted 2, saved the world, and kicked ass in multplayer. when i was done, i wanted more, i had become a drug addict, and i know need to go to rehab. if you don't think it is that bad, i went back to playing MGS4, and said this sucks. i know u can curse at me, becuz i couldn't play any other game but uncharted 2. videogames has made me a drug addict.

video games have shown me the worst things humans can say to one and other, but then everyone laughs

video games have made me get off my ass and live (after this last game of team death)

and finally video games hav made me think about life more then i ever had before, they showed me we as people only hav a little time to live

so we should live everyday to the fullest, who knows today might be the day the zombies come ;)

Guitar Hero made threw me back into my guitar playing.

I had one of those "THE SONG ISNT EVEN HARD ON REAL[/I] GUITAR, SO WHY THE FECK IS IT SO DIFFICULT ON HERE?!?! I'LL SHOW THAT STUPID GAME!" *Picks up guitar* Moments.

And because of the frequency of my "the Who" moments, Im suprised my GH guitar still works.

sadly the apocalypse has been slow rolling for me.

For me all games have made me do is outwit people and be generally better than most people (most not all) I'm above average in basically every game I play. But I've put many people down who think to blame video games for problems, obviously mistaking me for someone who doesn't play them. I wouldn't know why I feel like I look like a gamer. Maybe it's because I have people skills and I spend lots of time outside as well as on my computer playing games.

Quite frankly intellectuals are the gamers, I find that most games require some ability to use your mind. The only issue people see with us as gamers are that we are generally reclusive and to them that means we're planning something. This can obviously only be what we do on our computers and console which is kill people, or zombies, or aliens, or any number of things. Clearly we are trained to murder by games of skill.

But seriously if anything should go it's theme parks and carnivals they have always had games where you have shot things and are rewarded for it with real and tangible things. Not a point or a score. Seriously, if people sat down and played a game or two they would realize that it's the person on the other side of the TV or monitor that has the most effect. Not the game itself, that and as parents and friends you need to talk with your kids/peers to ensure that they are understanding that the game is to vent frustration and not build it. And that it is all obviously fake, this especially needs to be imprinted into the younger generation it's not real and should never be brought into reality.

I've broken two controllers and punched my TV so hard it's now in "Negative" permanently, which sounds Herculean but also kind of a waste of a TV, but what can I say.

P.S.

Yes, I hate being an angry gamer.

While I see the humor here, I find it rather juvenile. Bad literal interpretation. Are there any games that actually allow you to kill your parents?
Yes. "Kill your parents" the simulation

But seriously, there are games that let you commit suicide with household objects. I'm looking at you 5 Minutes to Kill Yourself.

They make me betray my friends for greater power.
They make me kill innocent flower girls.
They make me wear leather and lots of belts.
And they also increase my swearing ten fold.
And I learned to drive from Mario Kart. That should tell you alot about my driving skills.

I skipped school for a week when dragon age origins came out, but hey, had to play it, and my parents happened to be on vacation so nothing to stop me from doing so.

I strongly believe that video games have no effect on a person's actions in the real world. However...I do find myself having to pay more attention to what I'm doing when I drive directly after having played GTA...just saying...
