Technically Sky is the most beautiful since the Sea and it's colors are merely a reflection of it. Because without it the sea would be a hideous brown... yuck
Nope, the sea is blue all on its own. Water does have a blue hue to it, how ever its so very slight that you can only see it once enough of it has accumulated in an area.

Both are beautiful in their own way, but I prefer the sky, more variety. Clouds, storms, birds and stuff.

I actually thought about you when I read the topic. Not to sound like a creepy stalker or anything, but.. You know... Uhm... Yeah...

*Kicks ground awkwardly*

Aanyway, I'm not to fond of the sea really.. Jellyfish, sharks, big fish, eels, mudkips.. Yeah, I'm going with the sky on this one.
aww thanks XD

my plan is working... associate my name with something everyone likes >_>
Meh...I never really liked the sky, it's not like it's up to anything important right?

Of course it's not like the sea is much better. Personally, I much prefer the hole I made in the wall of my padded room, in terms of "view".

I vote sky by default... just because there isn't much sea in the middle of the prairies...

Though when I do see the sea I do find it all the more pretty.

Oh its gotta be the Sky. It goes on and on and on and on and at night it changes and expands even more. Besides I can find a sea of stars in the sky at night. The sea is finite. Like chicken.

Well, lying on a beach and staring at the sky is one of my few pleasures, so guess I´ll have to vote both. It´s doubly beautiful when you can see the passing clouds reflecting from the water surface. However, I prefer lakes instead of the sea, since we have plenty of those in here.

EDIT:

I find it occasionally a bit scary how vast the sky actually is. I mean, it´s friggin´ huge! Sometimes, when on a clearing, there´s just so much of it and I feel so infinitely small *curls up into a fetal position*.

I'll go with the sky. The sea is certainly beautiful in its own way, but a part of me has always been a little afraid of it. I love swimming, but I have dreams about drowning all the time.

Sea is epic win. The sound so powerful and yet so gentle. The soft lapping on beaches and the mighty crash against cliffs... I need the loo...

I would have to say the sea. You find so much life in the ocean, even if your just on the shore.

Mind you I live right by the ocean, and there is this one reef that has a Jew fish that I have named Fred (he'll eat crackers).
Hmmm. According to The Almighty Wiki, Jew fish also eat crustaceans. Not very good Jews then. *badum-chee*

Sea, definitely, because I can see the sky anytime. Although I have to admit that I'm sentimental enough to appreciate a cloudless night sky away from the city lights, when you can see more than a handful of stars. I better stop before I get all poetical here. :p

Edit: For your edification... http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jew_fish Eight feet long? That's a big mammajammin' fish...

The sea has poor visibility and downing. The sky has breathable air and castles of clouds. I vote sky.

ill vote sky, it reminds of the great "Star Ocean".
Hold on...that's the two combined! CHEATER! (Kidding)

I like the sea, I have a dream about a beach and the ocean...

No, I'm not going to say, it's not for all you big burly men here on The Escapist.
i bet it would remind me of one of the songs by nickleback lol. +, when i said star ocean i was using a metaphor, as in a "seemingly endless ocean of stars" it was a reference to the Star Ocean franchise.

Sky,: clouds, the sun, birds, moon, stars...it all beats an overly pretentious mud puddle

The sea is cold, wet, and fully of too many creepy crawlies. No thank you sir!
