Company of Heroes, without a doubt. It took the concept that Dawn of War had started to niche out, with battles more focused on dominating the battlefield than getting into the opponents base and wrecking it and expanded on it greatly. Not only that, but it also features some of the most hilarious lines to ever be spoken in any strategy game and manages to juggle 4 very different factions without too many balance screw ups.

Dawn of War. My favorite RTS game ever, and it was an awesome 40k game.

I would probably say Company of Heroes, but my computer just can't run it.

I only played Homeworld and Company of Heroes (+ expansions) and I liked them both. I want to try Homeworld 2, but I never seem to get around to it.

Homeworld, not contest. Nothing else even comes close. Of course, I haven't really played Relic's other stuff, but Homeworld is one of my favorite games of all time, so I doubt anything else they could put out would surpass that. Also, Homeworld has one of the best stories in any RTS, so there is that as well.

Homeworld. (well, I loved HW2 to bits as well, but since I can vote only one...)

Those games were shear raw 200% beauty. It's too bad that they weren't wildly successful in terms of sales.

Company of Heroes. The combat was awesome, but other aspects could have been better.

Homeworld even though Homeworld Cataclysm is a much better RTS imo

But just about all of Relics games kick arse

Company of Heroes for me as well. Excellent game, great balanced combat, huge range of units and buildings allows for your own strategy adapted to the map. The multiplayer is great, either against your friends or co-op against CPU players. The units have great 'one liners', you can hear the rumble of far-off artillery, the batlefield is destroyed throughout the game, and the atomasphere of battle is just right.

I'm going to have to go with Dawn of War.

I've had so many good memories playing that game with friends.

Plus Dawn of War is probabaly the most quotable game I've ever played.
Definitely agree with you there. Back when I used to compete in paintball I'd shout Space Marine/Imperial Guard lines across the field.

Hmm, I'd have to go with Homeworld 2. The story wasn't quite as good as the original, but the graphic update and UI and gameplay improvements make it worth it. Company of Heroes and Dawn of War were decent, but I didn't enjoy them as much.

Only played Dawn of War one and two.

And i really didn't like 2, i don't know why, it just didn't click with me.

So yeah, The first dawn of war (and expansions) wins for me
