Poll: What is so good about Megan Fox?

She is good looking but not attractive (if that makes sense). Like virtually all female (American) movie stars, she has to be good looking. But like lots of female (American) movie stars, she is good looking in a generic, prosthetic kind of way - all blemishes hidden, thick tan, make up caked on, hair in a perpetual state of tidyness regardless of the situation.

As for acting? I've only seen her in one movie, and her performance was totally unremarkable.

She definitely is a very pretty girl, but I don't see the "be all, end all of ultimate hotness" that others do in her. As for talent? Pretty sure the only MF movie I've seen is Transformers 1, and I was definitely not impressed. That might have been the movie over-all, but if I've seen her in anything else, I didn't notice, and that's no good for her anyway.

Also, this always immediately pops into my head when people mention her, good I'm not the only one!

The problem is that she sold her soul to be hot.

I myself don't really get why she is considered so hot, but I know I'm not unique in thinking this, plus when she gets interviewed she comes across as kind of a moron and she also lashes out quite nastily from time to time plus I gotta say she really isn't one of the better actresses I've seen, probably not the worst but certainly not among the best.

So yeah, I guess you could say I dislike her as both an actress and a sex symbol, but hey that's just me. I consider her another of the many actresses who is really only put into movies because she has sex appeal and nothing to do with her abilities as an actress, plus as others have said she's hot in a very bland and basic way and even though I may sound a little elitist by saying this:
It's mostly just hype.

Still, I guess I prefer young actresses like Ellen Page to Megan Fox but that's just me.

Ellen Page is like twenty three, you know. They are roughly the same age.

Yeah, I know. They are both substantially older than me, though admittedly Page really looks a lot younger.

Still they are young compared to seasoned actors/actresses and they've had shorter careers (though both have quickly made names for themselves), hence I refer to them as 'young actors'.

I don't find her attractive at all. She's not a good actor, She's not attractive, and she looks very bland. I mean I don't know her in person but I bet she is boring. Even if she wasn't it wouldn't save her. I just don't find her attractive in any way.

Pretty much this. Plus she seems to have a huge ego from what I've seen in interviews. However I guess that comes with the territory, so forgivable, but only because it doesn't effect me. I never met her, and probably never will, after all.

Ah, I must have read the inflection wrong.
To me, it seemed like you were saying Page was young and Fox was not. So I guess I assumed you thought she was closer to the age of the roles she usually plays.

I've heard too many guys say they wouldn't do Megan Fox. Pffft they talk as if they could do better.

A lot of porn actresses have so much personality, weirdly enough it even shows through in their 'acting'. Just to name a few: Katie Morgan, Maria Ozawa, Nikki Rhodes, Ashlynn Brooke and my personal favorite Isabella Soprano (who is much too pretty for porn). Yes, porn actresses are people too.

Megan Fox is a face and an ass. And I don't get people saying "she was useless in transformers". OF COURSE SHE FUCKING WAS! To ask her to be more you'd first have to ask the movie itself to have a coherent plot and character development!

EDIT: Kristen Bell has a lot going for her. In fact a lot of the cast of Twilight does including Robert Paterson (Any guy who aspires to be like Jeff Buckley is in the good books with me), I mean just look at Anna Kendrick she was brilliant in Up in the Air.

Not much to add here. The sad thing is just that there are truckloads of young actors (female and male) out there with at least some talent trying to get their foot into film while shallow barbie dolls (that includes Ken's) are making the big buck.

She's absolutely nothing special. I don't find her attractive in the least and her acting talents are highly suspect. The fact that she's over-hyped as being "hot" just tends to turn me off even more.
