I regard it as the station that shows Dr. Who a season behind. I also regard it as an unfunny Daily Show. I watch The Daily Show and the Colbert Report for all my news.

I'm american and i get my news from the BBC.

However i don't watch the news allot. Maybe once or twice a week.

But BBC has Top gear, and i LOVE Top Gear.

I used to watch Reuters online but now I just read the Daily Beast cheat sheet to catch up on things. I wish I could watch BBC news here, I don't get BBC America on my cable anymore.

It has a lot of my favourite shows, although as a news station I watch it to get the news and then decide my stance on it myself.

Er Bloomberg actually...
I tend to find they filter news out that really doesn't matter a single shit and focus on stuff that actually will have global effect.

BBC? Thats the radio channels I listen to, nothing else :p

Edit: Al Jazeera! Ahahah! Good one.

I get my news mainly from local papers and NPBN/MPBN bt when not there BBC or CNN. However I am currently angry at the BBC for taking Ashes to Ashes, Doctor Who, Top Gearand Primeval away from me. Oh and my dad likes Bloomberg.

I just watch when they play Spaced or The Young Ones. Which is very, very rare.

This, too.
I listen to their old radio station recordings.
Me and my towel love these recordings.
As a non-UK (and US) man m'self, the only thing I know them for is that they recorded Hitchhiker's Guide To The Galaxy, and I've been listening to it for a few weeks, every day a bit, and I absolutely love it.

On the news question I watch Fox (/flame shield), and please do not criticize. You watch your network I watch mine.

I love the BBC but not for it's news, rather for it's shows and documentaries (Top Gear, Have I got news for you, Life, Question time). I think it's news is good but getting news from multiple sources is better imo.

Didn't BBC play Monty python episodes a long long time ago? If so it's good enough for me.

BBC is the place I get Top Gear, Being Human, and Merlin from. My news is generally from a sampling of a few sources on the internet, and the BBC is sometimes one of them.

BBC News is all the news I watch, and my e-mail home page usually has the latest headlines. I do read newspapers (though only at work), but I can't think of one that I would actually buy out of interest. Its either about Princess Diana or a bit of skin on Page 3. With a couple of exceptions obviously.
