To leave behind a family that can be looked after through your works and possibly to be remembered when we are long gone.

I personally think we are a fluke. Sure we try and add meaning to our existence but that doesnt mean there is one. Sort of like a fly wondering why they are suddenly caught in a jar.

We are only what we are now. Live, love and be happy. Anything else is just a waste of this experience we have been given.

To make people in the immediate area around you miserable because you're more awesome then they are.

Or if you want to aim low; Make people around you miserable.

[sup]Yes I'm a terrible person[/sup]

No choice means no point. I exist until I cease to exist. I didn't ask for it, I'm just the product of other people's lust, as they were before me.

The main point of living is gaining POWER:

Peace is a lie; there is only passion.
Through passion, I gain strength.
Through strength, I gain power.
Through power, I gain victory.
Through victory, my chains are broken.
The Force shall free me.

Mrs. Pumpkins comical dream
this world is too boring to strive to be happy.
my true existance is to play with the minds of those who fein power over me.
dilusions of grandeur need to be abolished, and i am MORE than happy to screw with thier sanity.
we must have fun "for what a pity what a shame"
if you dont understand that, read it again because i am NOT explaining that.
That was so terrible to read. For god's sake, learn spelling/grammar/punctuation.

OT: I don't think there's any over-arching purpose. How we fit into the species, I believe we should mate and contribute to evolution.

I'm a Christian, so I believe that I exist to bring glory to my creator through the way that I live my life. That being said, I believe the best way to do that is by living my life in a way that will positively affect those around me, while not completely ignoring my own happiness. I believe that we have been given the means to experience pleasures as a gift, so why not enjoy ourselves every now and then? :)

I don't think there is a 'Point' or reason for life, but that shouldn't stop us from enjoying it while we're here. Your own happiness should be your life's goal.
This exactly.

There's no higher purpose or anything of the sort to life, simply that you live it however you see fit.

The point of humans living is the same as any other creature we know of: to procreate, and increase our numbers as much as possible. Look at humans in a similar form as you would bacteria, and you get what I mean. :p

*shrug* I can't help but notice that every action of almost every single organism on the planet is simply geared towards ensuring survival. Thats it. I don't get why, but everything just wants to keep on surviving. It could effectively be argued that people are slightly different, where only MOST of what we do is geared towards survival, except perhaps the strive for some forms of knowlege (I say some because MOST of it IS used to ensure our survival, medicine, understanding of space, weather patterns, etc.) and leisure. Most leisure activities are, or at least, WERE geared towards being fit and healthy, again for survival, but recently some leisure activities have become counter-productive, along with an increasing desire for people not to have children. So yeah, we're a bit of an anomaly ourselves, but in short, I'd just say 'Survival'.

I personally think is a measure of survival in the most pleasant way possible.

Everyone exist's to make there own lives better, even if thats making others lives better. Procreations the same...or we wouldn't spend the money and time on a costly kid.

Suffering to enjoy paradise is a learned agenda ...sounds like religion to me.(atleast thats what I think...because I wasn't raised to believe that and lifes far too good to be about suffering)

Money goes back to happy survival. Money is the bases of society and trade, but is just a function of survival as a human being.

And there we go.
Only thing that depends is where you start.
