Poll: What is your approach to the Pokemon games?

When not Nuzlocking, I'll catch everything I see, but only actually use a pre-planned team.

I was never really into "Catching 'em all." If I try to catch them all, each one I catch becomes less and less important.

I don't really like Pokemon...

SO I guess my approach is avoiding it.

I get whatever ones look cool...
Though one time I caught 100 Skittles and grinded 6 of them to lvl100 without letting them evolve...

I like to make my team as i go, covering as many types as i can. then wheen i beat it, i go back, train a competive team (or eight, XD) and then after that, just go catch pokemon for the fun of it.

I tend to plan in advance which ones I want, usually based off of type and uniqueness.

Also, certain ones I just like.

Gotta catch...whatever stumbles across my path.

Usually by the end of the game my team is made up of whatever the Water starter was the Legendary for whatever version I bought and a bunch of Dragon types.

I pretty much just Dragon Rage/Breath my way through the rest of the game.

Like a military commander. Grind my Pokemon until they're equal level, get them the best possible moves and steamroll the game.

Though the last time I started it I planned ahead what kind of team I wanted; just badass Pokémon. Still need that Houndoom.

Initially I am a catch 'em all type of person. But after a while I slow down when I've formed a proper team, and then concentrate on training a particular set, and catching legendaries.

I normally only fill my team to about 4 max, and i super train them till they are unbeatable.
I normally catch every pokemon i see if its even a little rarer than common, but the common ones i normally never catch, never had a bidoof in platinum or a sentret in SS

Actually, sentret is pretty rare, considering it's only in two routes. I think it's wrongly labeled as that gen's derp. That goes, once again, to ratatatatatatatatatatatatatatatatatatta. C:
