Just did... It's not like I'm stalking you or something. o_0Geek@Heart said:How did you now I'm a stalker?

Gets lonely...
Great, now I've slipped into depression.
Although I have developed feelings for a dear friend of mine.
..Yay?

Okay, you should put this in the "you know you are gamer when..." post!R3dF41c0n said:Dating- I have been in a very happy relationship with a girl for almost 5 years (Our first date was a few days after Half-Life 2's PC release date). We share many common interests and plan to get married after we graduate from college.

Okay you got me there, end of discussion. Still it'd be a little more convenient if it was the other way around (at least I think so).DrDeath3191 said:That'd be where the discussion kicks in. People vote and (occasionally) explain the situations more thoroughly. That way we find out who among us are not interested in a relationship right now, who recently broke off of a relationship, or who the lonely people are.Gladion said:You're asking the wrong question for the thing you want to find out. If you want to know whether the prejudice "gamers are lonely geeks" is true, you should ask "How long has it been since your last relationship?"DrDeath3191 said:I only have nine slots.Gladion said:It indeed does sound better, but now it's not right any more, because now you're talking about any person who is playing video games or has had played a video game. Including casual gamers.DrDeath3191 said:I suppose you're right, so allow me to restate the stereotype: 'gamers are usually single' Does that sound a little better?
Don't take that too seriously
But what I do think is that the "Single" option is a little too simplified. "Single" can be "single for two weeks" or "never had a relationship at all" - the possibilities are infinite.
