Metroid Prime. Just because I've only played through it properly on the Wii doesn't make it any less of a good GameCube game.
I'm with you on this one. I was actually quite an adaptation. I still play it some times.

I also enjoyed Wind Waker, it felt like a huge world. Say what you want about sailing. XD

Ooh, nightfire was fun. But gonna have to give it to Wind waker here, and to be honest, the one niggle I had with that game was the sailing but one thing redeemed that:

Good to know that I am not the only one to remember Nightfire.

OT: My favorite was Wind Waker, but why isn't RE4 on the list? It is a very close second.

Super Smash Bros. Melee and Tales of Symphonia are my top faves but I know I put way more hours into playing Smash Bros. I even participated in a few competitions and usually placed in the top 10.

Super Mario Sunshine, followed by Paper Mario 2. I played none of those others besides Smash Bros., and I always found that game forgettable.

Wind Waker for me. The story, graphic style, sailing mechanic, and everything melded so well together. It is easily the best zelda game ever. What is your favorite gamecube game?
ninja'd by op. In fact, I might go as far as to say Wind Waker is my favorite game of all time.

It's a very hard choice between TTYD and Wind Waker, but I went with WW because, if you take away the writing, TTYD is merely good.

Damn, maybe the TTYD. Remembering the Excess Express.

But then all the atmosphere and cinematic...ness of WW... Just thinking about those times you'd be sailing through an increasingly rough and darkening sea, slowing absorbing your mind into the boat and being pushed on edge, when a single lightning flash would reveal an entire horizon of seahats.

Fuck, the sailing was the best thing about that game, and on it's own would make a better game than most AAA titles today.

God dammit.

Can a port one so I don't have to make this decision?

@above post:
imho, Metroid Prime feels more engaging for the Wii, because I prefer wiimote and nun chuck control.

For me it's going to be Skies of Arcadia: Legends, yes it's technically a port of the DC, but it's an enhanced port. Number two is then Tales of Symphonia, and then Number 3 is the Mario Party series, followed by Double Dash.

Metriod Prime, one of the best console FPS games ever (up there with Goldeneye). The poll was pretty bad, too.

I actually got on the Gamecube boat late in the game (meaning I got my Gamecube used from Gamestop about 2 years or, a year-and-a-half ago).

I loved Smash Brothers and I tried a bit of Wind Waker (I need to give it another chance). My favorite game though is Thousand Year Door. I still have very few games though and need to build up a collection of some kind...I still need Eternal Darkness for example.

Hm, hard to say. The two games I loved the most for Gamecube were Tales of Symphonia and F-Zero GX. But I also loved Windwaker and Paper Mario so much. Baten Kaitos: Origins was also really awesome, it was a unique RPG with an interesting battle system. The Gamecube had so many awesome games, more of my favorite games are probably on it than any other system. Among those not listed are Custom Robo and Harvest Moon: A Wonderful Life, I especially loved Custom Robo and Wonderful Life was my favorite Harvest Moon game.

I'm voting for Symphonia, but I really can't decide between that and F-Zero. They were both so awesome. They need to make a sequel for F-Zero... maybe on the WiiU. They should also make another Sequel for Symphonia, a good one this time.

Out of those, definitely Wind Waker. My favourite 3D Zelda by far, my favourite cube game is probably Gotcha Force though.
