Poll: What is your Favorite incarnation of the doctor?

As I am quite unable to even find old episodes of the Doctor

All you need to do is look up a torrent for them. Porbably one on the Pirate bay or Mininova. So if I were you I'd look there. Also you may have problems finding all of the episodes of the first doctors as the BBC recorded over the Tapes. So the only copies left are pirates. Pirated in the U.S so the colour on them is a little flaky because of the change in format.

Also they are very different than the new ones. The old ones are far more complicated and less 'action' orriented. So if thats what you like in the new ones then you might not like the old ones.

Definitely Tom Baker. David Tennant was definitely good, but Baker is the best.

I actually came to the escapist forums tonight to see if there were any Doctor discussions!! I just started watching last week on Netflix. There has been a maniacal marathon of Doctor Who happening in this house starting with the re-boot. So Eccelston is my first Doctor and I LOVE him. It took me a VERY LONG TIME to not think of him every moment Tennant was talking! We finished up with this morning and realized that there's a DVD that happens sometime before #11 that Netflix is not streaming. We are waiting for that in the mail and, to appease me, my husband started putting on Torchwood, so I wouldn't COMPLETELY LOSE MY MIND while we wait!

I feel like I will have Togo back at some point and watch all the doctors, and even Sarah Jane's stuff, but for now I am just trying to catch up with on of the best shows on TV that I somehow wasn't watching!!!

Look up the "curse of fatal death" on the googles, i know, not strictly canon. But for my money, the bestest Doctor to date.

Yeah, he's good i'll admit it...in hindsight, one does have to wander why they never did get Rowan Atkinson to play the doctor for real. I think he'd probably do a pretty good job: Granted, still wouldn't be the best doctor ever but he'd still do well me'thinks.
