yeah i chose Fedora/Trillby since i have one.
but if i ever saw a Top hat for sale i would immediately buy it...then head straight to an optometrist to see what they could do in terms of monocles

I love fedoras. It's that old school look that I just... <3 I'd wear one myself but I don't have the right kinda clothes for it. :< Sadly fedoras don't go well with t-shirts and shorts.

Someone up above recommended a Panama. It's basically a warm weather fedora. Looks right with shorts and a t.

It's not so much as it's too warm for one... I just wear shorts/t-shirts all year round. I'm a bit mad you see. ;D

My favourite is my Sprawl reversable beanie, closely followed by my olive green Fidel Castro-esque military cap.

I used to have an awesome peak beanie but I left it on a train a couple months ago. Now all my replacements seem shallow in comparison. I guess I shall never have my perfect hat again.

I vary between a Trilby and a Flat-cap... currently I'm rocking the trilby as my flat-cap has gone awol.

Well, I have many hats, and costume pieces as gifts/leftovers from an ex who worked in theatre costuming.
I have far too many fancy hats, e.g. top hats and bowlers etc. because of this.
And I for one, love them.
I've worn my top hats both ironically and unironically, and loved it every time, I wager that I like Furburt, can actually pull it off too.

I would very dubiously put that under the cowboy/safari hat. I would have described one as a safari hat before googling Akubra just now.

Well, for spring/summer, I prefer the wide range of fedoras I own. For fall/winter when my hair's longer and those hats seem more awkward, I stick with the beanies.

OT: I voted for the ball cap because mine has a black and white picture of Niv Mizzet the fire-mind on it, but I honestly don't wear hats often enough to have a favorite.

I would also really like a time machine however.
