A nice example of looks beating personality. They're all smug wanker pretty boys/ girls. If they were people they'd be hipster model greenpeace activists... Dark Elves are alright though, they at least have a bit of an edge and moral complexity to them.

Humans at least seem to have a wider variety of personalities and traits than other races, while so many of the standard fantasy races fall into the same tropes over and over again:
Elves: Lithe, beautiful, long-lived, arrogant. Some live in the woods and are hippies.
Dwarves: Surly, drunken, tough, live under the mountains and like to mine and smith stuff. Have beards and Scottish accents.
Orcs: Warlike, not too bright, hated by most of the other races.
Trolls: Dumb, strong, regenerate fast, stink.
Ogres: Gluttonous, warlike, foul-tempered.
Oh yeah! You also forgot: 'Halflings: no one wants to play them in D&D'Samtemdo8 said:Halflings: Lazy and unimportant.Ihateregistering1 said:Since you didn't put Lizardmen on there, I've got to be boring and go with Humans (I probably would have picked Tieflings if they were available too).

Elder Scrolls Trolls looks like Bigfoot.MrCalavera said:Dwarves, laddeh. Then there are probably Orcs- oh, didn't notice you have Goblins there...You know what, scratch that, Goblins FTW. Although Dwarves are still cool.
I also have a soft spot for Warcraft Trolls. The problem with Trolls in general though, is that their depiction might be the most inconsequential of all fantasy races. They just come in all shapes and sizes, and it's hard to decide which appearance should be the "standard" one.
Good, they deserve it for reading shrek fanfiction in the first place.Samtemdo8 said:Also I feel sorry for the Ogres.
Appearently Shrek and his "fanfiction" ruined Ogres for alot of people.
Then you will love this Goblin in World of Warcraft.aba1 said:The crazyness of goblins makes me laugh sometimes too so they are fun!
