XP so far, to me, is still the best. however..W7 is not far behind and gradually becoming my first choice.

Windows 2000 Server
Because it's the last one with a proper old-skool GUI with non of this modern fuzzy button crap.
Also because it's the one I was trained on in school, so I know where everything is.

Windows XP since I've never used 7, and the only reason that is is because I don't know if I need to reinstall all my games if I switch, and because if I did I would be too lazy to reinstall them all.

Windows 7. Never used Vista because I was too cheap to upgrade in college, but now that I was able to upgrade... I like it much better than XP, even though I did use Ubuntu most of the time anyway.

But I now go between Win7 and Ubuntu10 quite frequently. Found a really good harmony between the two.

Win 7.
- It's pretty light; runs on anything that can take XP.
- It's got a bunch of stuff that you look at and think "Now why hasn't this thing been around longer? It makes so much sense!".
- They fixed a lot of things.

Vista (for machines that can handle it) but it will probably be W7 once i use it

XP for slower machines and ME for even slower machines

I choose XP because it's better than the ones before it, Vista is just plain bad and I haven't tried out 7 yet.

Windows 95. Loved the black screen with white letters, and there were so many games that i loved for it, like X-com, the next X-com that was underwater, steel panthers,

And navigating it was so intuitively obvious (sarcasm)
You mean DOS?

I guess I have to go with Vista. It works okay for me, I haven't tried 7, and I've forgotten what differences I noticed with XP.

MS-DOS.

I'm playing it old school.

Anyone for a game of Wasteland?
Never played it. Could go for some Scorched Earth, though.

I just got 7 a month or so back, and I'm loving it so far. It's taken some time to get used to some of the new features (mostly the taskbar), but it's been worth it.
