Never used 7, Vista, 2000, ME, NT, 3.1, DOS.

I'll go with XP as my favourite, been using it for 9 years now.

Easily Win2k. It was good, came from good roots in the NT family, functional and pretty minimal. Funny that it came out within a month of maybe the shittiest Windows to date, WinME.

Vista was actually great towards the end, once service pack 2 came out it was fantastic. But 7 is better, even if it has caused me some major problems.

I only really use Vista so thats why I picked it. I recently saw some of my friends running Windows 7 and I have to say that if I used it I would most likely love it.

Damnit!

I voted Windows ME so I could be the only person to do so, but someone else did. God that was awful.

Windows 7 all the way.

Windows 7 for me too! It's just a really solid OS and has some nice UI improvements over XP. Furthermore, it isn't as horribly unstable as my vista boot was.

I guess I have to go with Vista. It works okay for me, I haven't tried 7, and I've forgotten what differences I noticed with XP.

MS-DOS.

I'm playing it old school.

Anyone for a game of Wasteland?
Never played it. Could go for some Scorched Earth, though.

I actually just downloaded scorched earth a week ago to see if it's still fun.
It is.

I have to say Windows 7. I've used 95, 98se, ME (Dear lord, it was just a virus pretending to be an OS), 2000, and XP. I've used XP since it was released, and after Vista, I thought Microsoft would never be able to top XP. After XP's service packs, and just for how long it was in use, it was, to me, an extremely stable OS, with more software written for it then you could shake a memory stick at. Then along came Win7. It was Vista, without all the crap, and was as fast as XP. I downloaded the RC, and two days later uninstalled XP and never looked back.

"MAC" is not an OS, it's, as Wikipedia puts it, a "Media Access Control address or Ethernet Hardware Address (EHA)." You were looking for Mac, or Mac OS.

One of the first proper open-world games.
Thank the heavens for Brian Fargo.[/quote]

Sorry. If that's the case, I'ma have to stick with the Gold Box RPGs, Forgotten Realms or Dragonlance. Curse of the Azure Bonds, yo!

There's a trick to beating this fight...which still means you have to deal with beholders, drow, Rakshasa, and Zhentil High Clerics.

Congratulations. Welcome to Hell. Population: Beholder Corps.

Win7. Had it on my laptop and now dual booting with XP on my desktop... gradually moving to 7, just wish I had a few days off so I could do it all in 1 day.

I have tried Xp, Vista and W7 and still I prefer XP over the rest. Everything just seems to crash and stop working on W7. My XP works fine without bugs, the only problem is the lack of support.

I liked xp best, it was simple I had no problems with it. Windows 7 is fine too but I just don't like the way folders are set up, along with all the other pointless changes that make things more confusing than xp when it's suppose to be simpler.

Vista, though I've heard good things about 7, I haven't bothered to upgrade. I use XP, so I'm worried about compatibility.

XP, good old XP, current running system.

Even my mum ditched her new fangled Vista for good old XP.

Will be switching to 7, soon, to see if it is good.

Provided it isn't XP, NT or ME I'm happy with it. I'm currently using vista as I've had issues with seven, so I suppose that's my "favourite", however my laptop will be running 7.
