In all honesty, I've never actually tried one of those out. I'm not sure how I feel about them being made of hard, crunchy candy.

I voted boxers, but it seems I actually wear boxer briefs more, which I didn't even know was a thing until reading this thread. The more you know, the tighter your pants get, apparently.

Boxer briefs, no contest. For myself and on guys. My boyfriend occasionally wears briefs, and I don't like them as much. Granted, they are quality briefs, just not what I prefer.

I don't think that we have a consistent language here. Some people are describing boxer-briefs like the things I call tapered boxers and others call trunks: short, tight boxers.

I always understood boxer-briefs to be briefs with elastic legs.

Those are the worst type of underwear, but tapered boxers are the best.
