Music. I buy at least a CD a week. This week I bought four (Machine Head, Bruce Springsteen and Lamb Of God x2).
Second to that would be comic books, which I currently spend £30 a month on.

I'm really okay with all of this but my girlfriend really isn't.

Movies. Dvds, Blu-rays and movie tickets. In second place, games. But only because they're totally overpriced here in Brazil. If they had a fair price, second place would probably go to books.

Ammo

Shooting's pretty fun, and while not a cost-effective means of entertainment, it does build a marketable skill in my line of work (security).
save your brass and reload them. thats what my dad does, and what i used to do before i moved into campus housing (they don't look kindly on me keeping a security six in my lockbox). leads are pretty cheap, even cheaper if you just buy a solid lead ingot.
I plan on it. Haven't bought any more ammo because I'm saving to get some reloading equipment.

Books.

I should be having my own personal library in a few years at the rate I'm going, and I really need to start looking for more shelves since at the moment they are stacked on the floor.

Games are a second, which is also another reason why I need more shelves.

Probably video games.

From my impressive PS2 collection, to my growing PS3 collection, to my GOG games that now take its own damn HDD.

I blow the most money on tactical gear. It's easy to justify to myself because I'm in the military, so I think it's acceptable to blow $70 on kevlar reinforced gloves so my hands don't get torn up on the job, and they also make me look cool...

It's this sink that I put my money in.

Gotta keep that money clean.

Then I spend it on video games.

For the longest time it was WoW. but I broke that habit... again. Now it's just video games in general.

All media. Video games, films and television and to a lesser extent literature and CDs. Oh, and beer, scotch and pipe tobacco.

I used to buy old comics when I was a teenager, but I haven't in some time.

Well as a student living with their parents, the only thing I really needed to spend my own money on was video games.

Mine used to be video games (and still is to some extent, but not nearly as much), but more recently it's been Magic the Gathering cards. I've been playing for about 5 years, but only recently got big into it because I want to start doing tournaments.

Mine is split between video games and my girlfriend. Luckily, these two often go hand in hand, as my girlfriend is a big gamer, and we enjoy the same games most of the time.

Well, I wouldn't call it wasting, but my girlfriend. Steam and Amazon downloads means I get games at ridiculously good prices.
