Ke$ha is obviously brilliant and I really shouldn't need to explain why. You simply don't get that popular if your songs are universally bad. While certain people certainly may not like her music and that's fine, a lot of people don't like her simply because other people do like her, or because they hear the songs more than they want to, or because of commonly-held misunderstandings about her use of Auto-tune, certain fashion styles, certain lyrics etc.

She's the flavor of the year I guess. Would be surpirsed if she gets to album #3. Artists like here get their glory, hit the charts then usually disappear or become much smaller in the music scene.

I regret looking up Tik-Tok, despite having heard it the chorus is now LODGED IN MY BRAIN. I don't like her, she's shallow and considers replacing s with $ to be... witty(?) rather than just conceted and stupid. Also she's not singing, there is so much after recording studio manipulation in her music, she's trying to hide something.

I do like pancakes though... I am torn.
