Creepers... it's always the creepers. Especially when I leave the safety of my house just after dawn, and all the other critters have either 'flamed out' or gone peaceful. Of course, while I'm busily building, I forget all about the fact that the creepers are still out there... watching... waiting...

Lava. Always lava. A.l.w.a.y.s. It takes so long to clear out lava pools for those precious diamonds that love to spawn around them, and I always accidentally burn myself on that adjacent block nonsense.

I am surprised that creepers are the number one cause of death considering that you really have to be not-paying-attention in a patently dangerous place for one to sneak up on you, and they're quite easy to get rid of/dodge if you know they're coming

I'm surprised too. I can usually take point-blank creeper explosions with no armor and survive (on normal) so I don't know how so many people die from them.

For me it's usually falling or skeletons. Or a combination of the two...

Creepers, only fucking creepers. I'll be fighting off one and one will just give me a great big hug from behind and bang dead.

I'll leave my house and there'll be anywhere from 5-12 creepers and they drive me mad.

Favorite story: I was working on my house in the middle of the day, adding the finishing touches to my front door when I turn right to leave to get more sand for glass when all the sudden I'm greeted with D: and BANG dead.

Creatures never kill me. My fortress has towering walls that are nothing but sheets of flowing lava, so nothing even gets to me. Falling, on the other hand...yeah, that happens.

That and intentionally blowing myself up after digging into the core of the earth and creating a towering stack of TNT to get back out. It's totally worth it though.

Also, being blasted by Creeperes, flying through the air, and falling into lava, all rolled into one.

This, I can't go out and cave exploring without having my finger glued to the sneak key just so I'm a bit more safe from falling. Creepers still get me.
