That sounds completely dreadful, but on the other hand intriguing. How would one go about consuming this unholy combination? Do you just place chocolate and cheddar on top of each other and go to town, or are there further logistics involved?Gimelbub said:I like dark chocolate with anything between 70 and 80% cacao. Dark chocolate for precisely this reason and also I like rich foods.Hero in a half shell said:Now it's a big advantage, because people always leave the dark chocolate sweets in the chocolate boxes, and I get to eat them all Muhahaha!
Out! Now! *points at door* =Pinterspark said:mildy bitter? MILDLY BITTER?! try mildly repulsive!!!SckizoBoy said:Good grief how uncouth! =P
You, sir, have no appreciation of good confectionery! The mildly bitter aftertaste is the best part of eating dark chocolate... or as I call it, real chocolate.
/poncy arrogance -_-
Hmmm, must be a Chinese thing! Or perhaps BBC...(!)Scarim Coral said:Dark chocolate all the way preferable the strong kind (not those weak "dark" chocolate)! Strong chocolate should be the ones that make you grab a drink of milk after taken a couple of bites!
I take it you took a look at my profile? Well what can I say? I prefer my chocolate dark and the same goes to my bro (well last time I had asked him about it). I also got a friend who love dark chocolate until she found out she's lactose intolerance (she got ill but didn't know the cause of it).SckizoBoy said:Hmmm, must be a Chinese thing! No, I just remember from an older thread when you explained what BBC meant... plus you posted on the photo thread, so *shrug*.Scarim Coral said:I take it you took a look at my profile? Oh right my bad, yeah she was upset when she found out that news (she love chocolate) although she found a way around it by making these vegan brownie (no milk require) from this recipe online. Apparently it taste very good (she lived far away from me so I wouldn't know what it taste like), don't know if the taste is more milk or dark chocolate ish like.SckizoBoy said:No, I just remember from an older thread when you explained what BBC meant... plus you posted on the photo thread, so *shrug*.
Anyway, bummer about your friend who can't enjoy chocolateLactose intolerance sucks. My sister has it so can't eat chocolate either (it was her own damned fault for OD'ing on cheese!)
No probs. And my sister is also working around it. She had a housemate who knew a lot of lactose free recipes (cakes, cookies, brownies etc.) so she was dubbed my sister's baker. Now, my sister has those recipes and is quite tolerant of her chocolate free life. All's well when she isn't pissed off. She packs a hell of a punch for a 110lb 5'1" woman!Scarim Coral said:Oh right my bad, yeah she was upset when she found out that news (she love chocolate) although she found a way around it by making these vegan brownie (no milk require) from this recipe online.
