Depends on the type of RPG. I like stealth, so:

Thief or Assassin.

On MMORPG: Rogue or Ranger. But I don't play MMORPGs because there is way too much grind.

Uh, I don't generally like Role Playing Games that makes you choose a "class" unless the class is diverse enough to encompass a wide variety of characterizations and playstyles.

In fact, the only RPG that I can remember that have sort of a "class" system and still being awesome would be Warhammer 40.000: Dark Heresy and Rogue Trader (I count them as a single game because they basically use the same rules and share the same setting, only the premise differ).

In general though, I tend to favour sneaky and/or inelligent characters to play, suffering more or less from some kind of emotional or mental problems. The more sneaky characters tend to be criminal hitmen or assassins. The more intelligent characters tend to be agents or unscrupulous mad scientists and overall practical and pragmatic characters.

Argh! I hate that name for a human/demon hybrid!

One of the many reasons why I hate DnD in general. I mean who the hell thought out the incredibly GAY name "tiefling"?

It sounds like some kind of leprechaun or fairy, and not like a demon/human hybrid at all. Why couldn't they have gone with something more descriptive and badass like "hellspawn" or "daemonkin" instead? It would've sounded so much better, it would have been more descriptive and a lot less pathetic.

WAIT! I got another one: "Infernal bastard"! I mean at first it sounds kind of silly, but when you think about it, it's actually quite descriptive. I mean, no one marries a demon, thus any child produced of such a relationship has to be a bastard, and since one if it's parents is a creature of rather sulphuric breath "infernal" works too.

Eh? >:D

Why Am I Naked said:
I use Warriors/Barbarians most of the time, but I have always used thieves in the Elder Scrolls games.
I know what you mean, in Oblivion, if you max your sneak, you can literally be crouching in front of a Bandit without them seeing you, what a moron

Stealthy, Warrior, Invisible Mage, that burps Fireballs that exudes the smell of Rainbows.

I'm totally serious.

Hunter or Ranger, I hate the negative connotation they have because of WoW now. I love playing the guy with the bow and dagger and a trusty pet.

I agree, it is fun to shoot a volly of arrows at an enemy and no one can do a thing about it because he is distraced by your pet wolf

I keep changing. In Dragon Age: Origins I began as a warrior, then re-rolled as a mage then finally finished as a warrior.
