Poll: What kind of Class are you in Roleplaying games?

Give me heavy armor and a big sword, and I'll be a happy adventurer.

Pen and Paper, I'm most comfortable playing the stealthy type of character.

I like Nosferatus, Night Castes, Rogues, etc. etc.

As for Video Games, I play whatever is most fun in that game. If the stealth is good, I play stealth, if it's not, I find something that is fun and play that.

The class I play really depends on the game though, and it can vary wildly even within the same sub-genre. In Action RPGs I tend to play melee classes, where in MMOs I tend to play healer or support classes. It really depends on the game mechanics.

Sometimes, I am a Warrior.
Othertimes a Paladin.
And currently a Dark Knight.

But in my nature lies Mage.
Or is it Samurai?

I can never seem to decide which..
But I do like Mage.

Archer, because giant armor and battle axes are cool and all, but if I can shoot you in the face with an arrow from 100 feet away, your armor is going to do jack shit.

Usually I'm the "Jack of all trades" type. Kind of like the Ultramarines from Warhammer 40K. Good at everything, but excellent at nothing.

Fun fact: Arrows fired from a crossbow actually penetrate armor.

Unfortunately, I prefer a bow, but still.

First run through I'm the standard tank/fighter class so I can have all the cool armors. Also a good beginner class to get to grips with the game. Second time something a bit more exotic, depends on the game but if there is like a rogue type class or druid style class just something out of the ordinary that can be turned into an interesting build. If I go a mage then it's a Necromancer, I don't like being a powerful spell mage I like to cripple the enemy and in the case of a necro reanimate their corpse.
