I'm French and Irish Canadian, with all of my family living in New Brunswick since it became part of the Dominion of Canada in 1867.

I would imagine that, as the majority of the planet isnt American, this site should reflect that.

EDIT: Oh and for the record, I am British... and how is it pretentious to use your language properly?

I was under the impression that Americans were the dominant nationality.
Lol.

They're only "Dominant" because they shout at you telling you they're dominant.
They're dominant in the same way 2+2=5, by this I mean if enough people believe it and yell it at you, you may start to believe it's true.

I love the fact that an average Brit is the equivalent to a pretnetious American.

And yes, it is Colour.

As in, Any colour you like - Pink Floyd.

Although clearly Firefox has a yank spellchecker,. because its saying im spelling Colour wrong.

No I'm Danish. As in not American and not British. There's more than one country that doesn't necessarily write color without 'u'.

Dutch here. I don't think Americans are the majority, but they are the biggest group around.

Canadian here. I don't think I'm considered terribly foreign but I'm definitely not American.

Scottish / Irish American here.

I am interested to find this out as well as I love learning about cultures other than my own. Of particular interest to me is Canada (since some of my favorite music is Canadian Political folk, it would be nice to know the non-USA centric stuff they sing about.)

Anyone else from the escapist interested in learning about other cultures or other languages?
