Probably either Lovecraftian horror or psychological horror do it for me (though horror focused on serial killers can be creepy if it is done right, which is rare). Body horror never scared me (at least from the films that I have watched), gore is just stupid, torture porn is perverted (but not scary), and I do not ever know what you mean by magic/supernatural horror (I suspect you are talking about ghosts, but that "magic" part throws me off. If you are talking about ghosts, add that to the list of ones that can scare me).
I'll agree with Breakfast Man (are you a grain-based superhero?). Although I would argue that the two types are very closely related to the point of being indistinguishable at times.

Let's say that I fear the unknown, as well as the inner recesses of the human mind. That's where all the crazy shit goes down.

The Pan's Labryinth creature with eyes in its hands and ANYTHING LIKE IT EVER, I SWEAR TO GOD

The scenario makes it: Alone, no one to call, doom impending for a little girl with no hope. SHE ALMOST MADE IT OUT, HURRY GO, HE'S BASICALLY ON TOP OF YOU

Oh god...

The idea of some horrifying creature invisible to my eyes. I hate not knowing where something is more than anything. If Lovecraft's stories were real it would terrify me.

I'm horrified more by the stuff that screws with your mind then just gore. I yawn at zombie movies and nap through killer/monster films, but the movies that totally go all *Deep dramatic music...gets louder and louder...the person turns AND!...nothing?...F**KING DIRECTOR!*. Those kinda films just build it up and up and up and usually get your adrenaline pumping as you anticipate the horror...then it lets you calm down and your heartbeat returns to normal then SUDDENLY SOME S**T GOES DOWN! out of nowhere and you freak out over not having seen it coming.

Though the only problem is that those kind of films usually only work the first time you watch them, and they work best when they don't reveal what's going on untill the end.

I'm not scared by horror. Actually it tends to bore me.
Psychological horror is usually fun, though. It can be really intriguing if done well.

I dunno, I prefer a little bit mental terror. Not an extreme amount, but enough to put doubt with feeds itself like a fire in your mind.

To me a fantastic example of this was Amnesia: The Dark Descent. If you love horror and like well done horror games instead of that superficial horror Resident Evil, you will love this. Most people fear what they don't understand, so how do you understand something? You look at it, but in Amnesia you loose sanity if you look at it to long which results in you losing if you loose to much sanity. So you can't look at the monster to understand it, creating a multiplying affect of fearing what you can't look at or understand.

Torture, of any type. Having someone's intestines ripped out, having their fingernails ripped off (Higurashi) and any kind that involves making you feel pain.

And suspense. Gets under my skin. Like torture, but that one's literal.

Actually Resident Evil used to be scary before it became an action game series that was jsut hiløarious to play. Walking forever listening to creepy music, not being able to see any zombies, but knowing that there might be some around the next corner.

OT: Not sure if lovecraftian and psychological really is that different. Psychological means you are making up the scares yourself, lovecraftian means you're fearing what you can't see. So they are at least strongly connected I guess. Anyway, these are the kinds that scare me.

Probably psychological horror I suppose. The best way to scare me is to just leave me alone with my own brain and let it scare the shit outta me. I don't require much outside influence!
Then again, if you are referring to movies. I don't think there is such a thing as a horror movie. I just find it impossible to be scared watching a movie.
I should mention that there is a difference between being grossed out and/or turning my stomach and being frightened. I suppose an honorable mention goes to body horror and scenes of torture for making me cringe. That's not really being scared though.

I haven't found a genre of horror yet that scared me.

Lovecraftian? I really enjoy all the ideas and creativity implemented into Lovecraftian horror, but am never frightened by it.
Psychological? Fascinating. Silent Hill is one of the most interesting game worlds I know about because of all the psycho-nonsense.
Body horror? Sweet as fuck. I love transformation sequences.
Monsters/killers? If done well, it can make for an amazing thriller, e.g. Dexter.
Gore? I can take more gore than almost anyone I know or ever will know.
Magical/supernatural? Hell, I've written some of that kind of horror before. No big deal at all.

What other genres of horror are there? I'm not exactly what one might call an expert.

You sit there and tell me this theme isn't unsettling.

Psychological Horror FTW. It could also fall under supernatural. Also if you haven't seen Rosemary's Baby... it's on Instant.

Psychological.

It might be because I've watched so many horror films and read so many horror books that I'm not easily scared anymore. I actually like my horror where it gets in my head and makes me think and overanalyze about what I just saw/hear.
