I myself use Google Chrome after I saw it at a friends house. It works very fast and being able to search through Google on the Url bar is pretty handy.

But I was wondering what Browsers the rest of The Escapist uses. I find Firefox to still be alright but Internet Explorer is just ancient compared to Chrome/Firefox.

I voted "other", because I flick between using Chromium (branch of Chrome) and Firefox. Hard to say which I use most.

Safari for me. I can't stand explorer, and I don't get chrome. Firefox is alright, but it still doesn't compare.

Eh, I'll have to vote for "Other" here.
Can't remember who it was, but someone, on IRC I think, recommended Opera.
Rather a good recommendation, I think. It gets everything I need done, and remembers my tabs on startup, so I don't have to worry about fishing around for the sites I need >.>

I use Firefox on my Mac.

I tried Safari but it was too slow. I tried Google Chrome but it was too buggy and crashed a lot. I tried Internet Explorer but it nearly made me tear my hair out. XD

Chrome, now that it is less prone to crashing. It's still not fantastic in that regard, but the neato tab system is a fine replacement for the clunky Firefox management, so I'm OK with it.

Firefox, but did you really have to leave out Opera and Safari? They're both good.

Explorer, I don't get all the pointless hate it gets from loads of random people, most of which fail when actually asked to provide any meaningful reasons why it is so "inferior".

Mostly Chrome , but occassionally Firefox at Home.

At Work, Firefox with the Web Developer and Firebug Plugin. It's getting hard to imagine how i used to work/test pages without them (...at work i also have Chrome, IE in multiple Versions, Opera and Safari installed for testing purposes)

I read statistics from a very trustworthy magazine that IE 9 is the most safest browser at the moment (January).

Firefox. It's what I'm used to now.
I've tried changing to Opera or Chrome but it's just such a pain in the ass moving all my bookmarks and getting used to everything.
Besides, it does the fucking job, what more do I want.

Chrome, because my laptop has gotten old with age and doesn't run Firefox as fast as it used to. Pity. I liked Firefox and all it's add-ons. Chrome's my replacement browser because it's clean and simple and also I get to save my tabs, just like in Firefox! Also, being able to Google search directly from the url bar is rather handy.

Chrome is the fastest and it has a very clean and simple GUI design to it. Also I like how it uses one process for each tab, makes loading so much easier, with Firefox it can often freeze my PC when loading multible tabs.
