Poll: What kind of music do you listen to? (Name examples!)

Mostly everything, but mainly Jazz, Post-Rock, Indie Folk and Jazz Hip-hop.

Anything i would classify as music. ie, anything that has passion.

This rules out pop, electronic, dance and most rap because they all sound too much like they were manufactured rather than living melodies.

I like:
-most forms of metal (Iron maiden, stone sour, disturebed, black sabath, deep purple etc)
-Blues (The blues band, Muddy waters etc)
-Prog rock (The Yes, ELP, Pink Floyd, Genesis, King Crimson etc)
-Folk (June Tabor, Martin Simpson, Clannad etc)
-And anything else that feels alive and not created on a couple of computers by people looking to make money.

The best band ever are The Who.

I am REALLY INTO MUSIC. It's on of my favorite hobbies I just listen and zone out. This will be hard because I love sooo much stuff.I know I'm alone in this But I am A HUGE Hip-Hop kid. Favorite Rapper right now is Lupe Fiasco, I like stuff like Little Brother, Torae, Skyzoo, Chaundon, Dilated Peoples, Elzi, P.O.S. Atmosphere, Eyedea and Abilities (R.I.P. Eyedea).

I also am a huge rock fan, Breaking Benjamin, Rise Against, Disturbed, Linkin Park's first two albums, Helmet, Prong, Corrosion of Conformity, Tournquet.

As far as Metal goes I like Metallica (Kill 'em All, And Justice for all, Ride the Lightning, and Master of Pupperts ONLY Killswitch Engage, All That Remains, Atreyu, August Burns Red, As I lay Dying, Underoath, Trivium.
I love jazz and classical, not particular artists just the sounds in general. Ska music is cool also, Goldfinger, Reel Big Fish.

I'm kind've an alt rock douche Cold, Staind, Flaw, Incubus, Foo Fighters, Default, Puddle of Mudd, Seether, Chevelle, Trapt, 3 Doors Down, Matchbox 20, Train, P.O.D. (Satelite was their last good CD) Jimmy Eat World, and finally I guess Beck. I like Punk too but how much can ya name?

I listen to a high variety of songs and genres, though I do mostly enjoy the ones who're not newshit with autotune and completely studiolized* bullshit.

Now, I prefer metal/rock, but sometimes some good ol' Beatles beats it. I listen to what I feel like... Except rap/pop/shit.

(* I doubt that's even a real word, but it means songs that relies heavily on the studio alone, and lack of real playing, I.E they just put a lame, unimaginative beat made by the studio board and not a real person, sing false into the microphone with horrible lyrics and UURRRGGGHHH!!!.... My explanation at least.)
