Poll: What kind of nerd are you?

Hmmmmm, I'm a Knowledge Whore. I spend way too much time pouring over books, encyclopedia's and websites trying to learn new things. But since that encompasses a broad spectrum of topics, I'll have to go with All-Around Nerd.
Of those choices, it's movies and games for me. However, I believe I am more of a bookworm than anything else.
Movie lover, in the sense that I am that asshole standing right outside the door of a mainstream movie theatre going "Well it was a bit cliché and had an overused story archetype the likes of which I have grown bored due to having ... bla bla bla" and will probably praise (a bit beyond their own merit) most things coming out of the (actual) independent scene.
Towards games I can take a more casual approach and tend to just get a game that I find fun for the sake of being fun, but if asked about an honest opinion it's right back to my "movie nerd" self in critiques and how the mainstream audience has ruined bla bla bla... Though I still keep selling myself out to Nintendo on this one... I guess this makes me a Hypocrite Gaming Nerd then... (won't stop me from complaining)
And then there's my attitude towards music (just read what I wrote about Movies and intensify that attitude by 100 times). Yeah, I'm that asshole that nobody really likes and that constantly criticizes the major audience and how the (truly) independent scene (not the crap MTV labels as Indie) is far better then anything the mass consumers could actually even hope to purchase or download, bla bla bla

I'm a word nerd. I'm totally enamored with the written language.
Edit: I feel I went off topic. So count me in the all around group I guess. As far as habits and hobbies go, writing is my passion, everything else is secondary.

I;m an all around nerd. Although the most I do these days is criticize movies, games, anime and music because not many of them reach my expectation, nor deliver what they promise. =(
I wouldn'y call myself a nerd, but gaming and anime is my hobby. I might take it a bit seriously, just because I like that much

I believe a very important one that you missed out on was the World of Warcraft Nerd (which is what I would have put myself). Lacking that option however, I picked Gamer Nerd because aside from my World of Warcraft lifestyle I do play a lot of other games.
the only thing I'm not into that much is Anime, though I will watch it. I'm also a Rocker, through and through.
I'm glad Guitar Hero and such is waning down. Not to say I don't enjoy them, I just want companies to focus on other things, as that fad is beginning to look like a dead horse...
