If I have to be a nerd I'm a film/tv nerd. I prefer the term buff though...movie buff. Yet I'm quite odd because I just enjoy movies, I can watch them and see deep meaning or I can watch a completely brain dead frat boyish comedy and still have a few laughs.
Moviebob is the kind of movie nerd I dislike, ones that nerdrage. Granted to him it's a job and not just a passtime but I love that passtime to the extent that I can watch Shawshank Redemption and Meet the Spartans on the same night and still enjoy both.
Although I did get a little pissed off with the Friday 13th remake. Jared Padelecki or not they still shat all over one of my favourite films as a child. Wait, that could explain alot, I used to watch Predator, Aliens, Terminator, Conan, Halloween, Childs Play and all that other stuff when I was 8-10 years old...woops.

Video game nerd. I try not to be too open about it, as there are people who view gamers in a negative way. Although then again, having the FF7 victory theme as my ringtone doesn't really help matters now that I think about it.
I'm definitely a video game/computer nerd but only close friends know that I'm the nerd to go to whenever you need your computer fixed, seeing as I don't broadcast to everyone I talk to normally that I'm a gamer and a computer nerd, because you just don't do that..xD Cause seriously, when has being a gamer gotten people girls..Exactly. That is why I'm also a soccer player, and learning how to play guitar.
