I'm usually a stealth/marksmen/demolition. I'll pick off people around the edge but once I get a bunch in one area I like to nuke them without them noticing me.

I'm almost a little backwards in my decision.... Sure, I chose Marksman, but in the aspect of the stealth side of it....

Say, for example...

Shooting someone in a camp from about 3 miles away with a sniper is fun... But the more entertaining side of it, to me, is if said sniper was silenced.... Therefore I find it to be a challenge to take out as many guards as possible, before they found out something was killing them..... That, and, I figure I want as much distance as possible between me, and the things that want me dead....

Now, my point in how this is backwards, I know that this is a single-player question, and that's how I answered it.... I love standing back and being the subtle helper in a fight... Whereas, in a multi-player game I hate snipers to death, as if it spoils the concept of the game... (What that is, I don't know)

I guess it's because the essence of "camping" doesn't exist in SP, so you can sit there all day and just snipe people happy....

But other than that, I'm a marksman/stealth (if distance isn't an option)

Check out the badges dude.

<------

Basically from the descriptions you've given I'd say a Marksman/Psycho cross. Long-range headshots and close-quarters blade kills, all the way.

I perefer explosives and heavy weapons(Rapid Damage output over Controlled target selection or Wide spread targeting.) for general use when I can but I know how to restrain myself when friendlies or sensitive targets or objectives are nearby in which case i switch over to Marksmen or Guns Blazing or any other type as the situation calls for.Which is a same I don't see many others like me who know how to put their firepower on hold during such occasions.

I'm an absolute bullet sponge. Give me a bigass weapon, give me something that explodes, give me a weapon that rips everything apart at close range, and I'm happy.

I think my style of playing games can best be summed up by a quote from Abraham Maslow. "I suppose it is tempting, if the only tool you have is a hammer, to treat everything as if it were a nail." I try to keep myself from falling into one particular style of play. To keep my options open, if the game allows for it, I make sure to have the tools I need for several of the styles of play.

Take my current New Vegas play-through for example.

In my pack, I carry:

A few Stealth Boys, which render invisible and greatly boosts my stealth skills, and a nice silent melee weapon for more covert operations.

A grenade launcher with plenty of ammo as well as frag grenades; you never know when you need to rend something's limbs from its torso in a massive explosion.

Landmines and C4 to set up traps; if the direct approach doesn't work, an ambush might.

A sniper rifle; why face something nasty up close when I can blow its head off from five-hundred yards?

And an assault rifle and a couple other weapons which are best up close and personal; sometimes personal combat is just unavoidable.

Sure, these choices do take up a bit more space, which requires my companions to carry more of the loot back to base. But, having several options to approach a situation makes my game a lot more enjoyable.

I find it very frustrating when I'm forced into a single tactic and it proves to be a poor choice for a certain situation.

I'm generally an ambusher.

I either sneak up on my enemies, or use my environment to give the an advantage as I take them out...OR, I play it safe at mid-range, supporting my team (if applicable), and then I pounce in for the close range kill the second I see a weakness in the enemy ranks.

I'm stealth, but I don't "Avoid" anyone ..... If i do avoid someone that only means that I'll get to them later.. once I've dispatched their friends.

I'm a psycho because being cruel to enemies is sometimes fun.

Examples: Getting enemies trampled by cars in hilarious, assassinations (Halo Reach) are always cool, and my favorite way to kill people (in COD:MW2) is to wait for for enemies to climb up a ladder (in the level "Wolverines!") and shoot them with the intervention. The reason? The aftermath involves the enemies flying 10-20 feet backwards!
Oh THAT level.

I did that, but I put a turret at the top of the ladder. Watching him literally fly back across the map was damn hilarious!

It seems like in every game, particularly in Deus Ex and Fallout 3/NV. I tell myself "This time I'm going to do stealth, I'm going to sneak up and knife this guy". (20 minutes later) "F**K this" *pulls out Assault rifle*. I think its a default with my attention span.

can i pick Stealth, Marksman and Demolition.
sneak in place charges, get to a good spot and open fire at long range. when they get too close or there are too many set off the charges.

or you could go for all 3 in the form of an artillery strike

The Hoarder. Prefers to use the side arm with unlimited bullets and hold on to the stronger weapons with limited ammo when/if I might need them against a stronger opponent.> . >

probably stealth. demolition would be good but sneaking around and messing with people would be fun...THEN destroy them
