I am a realist. It's between optimism and pessimism. It's like being grey. Neither black nor white.

As for why I live... I would assume it's because I was born. But a sentimental reason? I have none.

I have no idea what I'm living for, or why I'm here. I'm just rolling with it and trying to enjoy myself along the way.

Also, generally, I'm an optimist, so it's all good, no matter whether or not there's a purpose to life, and, if there isn't, so what? I'm still here, and I'm still alive, and there's all sorts of stuff I can do. Therefore, I just live and that's it.

I stave off suicide and such because every time I think of it, I think of what my mother would do if she found my body

Mostly because I don't want to die yet. And it would make my parents very sad if I died, so I try not to.

But most of all, I live because my parents chose so, years ago. So I might as well make the best out of it while I can.

Because once you die, there's no coming back...
...Except if you're killed by zombies. But that's only a partial comeback, I guess.

I'm a pessimist. I know that, and I accept that I think the world sucks.

Not gonna stop me from wringing every ounce of happiness I can out of every moment I can, though. There's a lot of difference between seeing the world's metaphorical glass half empty and seeing it shattered, after all!

Interesting, there are no religious reasons... I'm a man of faith, so there are spiritual reasons why I believe I'm alive, why I exist. Of course, any interests and abilities I have are therefore given to me by God, so my passion for video games and interactive storytelling serves as the reason I live and my purpose in life.

Not to say they're the only reasons, but they're up there.
